the only other problem with going long single is how fast you can spin it. The longer the solid peice is the less rpm its recommended to spin to.

I think those long studs need crush tubes, so when you tighten it up it holds the ends of the core securely, rather then trying to crush the core.

because i don't see how you would purge the cooler unless you took it out every time?

Only thing i dont know about it because its installed upside down will it get a big air lock in the top of the core?

would it be possible for you to take some pics of with rulers in different position to show where approximatly you have placed the sump on the factory one?

well its a force (kg) over a area (cm^2) so its a pressure, im guessing in your case oil pressure, someone with a R33 manual will be able to tell you factory specs, but the factory gauge and sometimes not be extremely accurate.

A friend of mine used to work at nissan, anyway his brother had a piece of shit kingswood and was fixing some stuff on it, and serviced it fairly regularly (brother has no idea about cars) He replaced the rocker cover gasket as was leaking and noticed heaps of burnt on crap on the head. Anyway getting to the point he started using shell helix oil (they have in the big drums) and after a few services he had the rocker cover off again and noticed that where the oil was running it had cleaned alot of the areas up. Most good modern oils would do the same. So regular servicing with good oil is all you need.

I guarantee you that you wont have 20 psi by 4000 with a 4094 and rb20, would be closer to around 6000 most probably.

What RPM are you seeing say 20 psi by with the 4094?

He means the ceramic turbins shatter and actually find its way back into the bored vis open exhaust valves, screwing the bores and rings.

My friend done this for the first time on a R33 gtr last week, took him 4 hours off and 5 hours on, only took a bit longer as new manifolds were used and was difficult to get to the nuts that hold turbos to manifolds, and had to remove a compressor cover to get to them easily.
