  1. Whaddya reckon? made it to use as a sig in another forum (maybe this one too). Just messed around with an old promo pic of an R31 and some wheels pinched from an R32 GT-R promo photo. *EDIT* finally figured out how to get the source, so no more AF link!
  2. Is the Geforce video card sold? I'm chasing one at the moment. Will it support DX 9 ? come with drivers?
  3. does it have engine bay detail? and is this one of the kits with stock GT-R rims ? I'm looking for some of this stuff to convert into an R31 GTS-R kit
  4. As the title says. In good condition, less than a year old, 15". Only damage is two kerb scuffs from when I lent it to my mum for a week but they're barely visible. No close up pics of the actual rims right now, haven't got a digi cam. $450, no tyres. wheels: wheels on my car : They are in Hobart, but I will arrange shipping at buyers expense. mob: 0409 534 156

    Pics

My boring old R31 at Hobart docks (across from the art school).
  6. ahh well, I'll try them after work tomorrow.
  7. Mate, I'd recommend you buy mine 15x6" CSA Hornet rims, fit an R31 fine (e.g they are currently on mine) in good condition bar a couple of scuffs from my mum's crapy parking, with 195/65/15s in 80/60% condition. $600.. PM me - I'm in Ballarat for the next week and a half , then I'm going back to tassie. I have other wheels lined up, thats why I'm trying to flog them. Sorry to make it like a classified!! Pic of wheels on my car : sorry the pic is a bit dark.
  8. anyways, anyone have an idea what a typical wheel offset would be for an R33 GTS, with aftermarket 7 or 8" rims?
  9. Erm, hate to state something so fundamental, but have you ever seen an R33 GTS? by that I mean not a GTS-T ? The non-turbo GTS has the same four stud pattern as the R31, silvia, cefiro etc etc, I'm not sure on offset however.
  10. Theres a nice set of 17" 5 spokes at my local jap wrecker, attached to the remnants of a stripped-for-wrecking R33 GTS. Anyone know if they are likely to be a suitable offset for an R31 ? I'm not sure on the width but they're running 225/45's
  11. Personally, I don't think anything looks better on an R32 of any sort than R32 GT-R rims. R34 GT-R rims a close second. *edit* those nismo Volk rims hadn't loaded...Very nice. Close third.... I think the best look for an R32 is a GT-R, black, standard wheels, lowered a couple of inches, big phat cannon muffler, rear wing removed replaced by one of those tiny little drag boot lip spoilers, otherwise externally stock. few wheels or body kit parts make any improvement on nissan's original work.
  12. The Japanese superbike pecking order.. People with an interest in motorcycles hailing from the land of the rising sun may be interested in this..... Traditionally, since the 1970's, the four Japanese motorcycle companies (but particularly suzuki, kawasaki, and honda) have competed with each other to have the biggest, fastest, most awesome flag ship model. In the early to mid 1990's, the kawasaki ZZR-1100 was the fastest, capable of exceeding 285kmh. Soon Honda brought their successor to the market, named the CBR1100XX "Blackbird". Seeing this, Suzuki cleverly named their response the GSXR1300 "Hayabusa", a bird of prey which hunts and eats other birds, in particular the Blackbird (which it presumably finds tasty). Kawasaki finally responded with their challenger, named the ZX-12R "Ninja". After the release of the 185HP, 200mph+ capable ZX-12R, at an international conference of dealers, and after a few beers, a japanese representative of Kawasaki heavy industries revealed why the ZX-12R was named "Ninja". In ancient times, the prospective Ninja, in a show of stealth, skill and bravado during training, would capture the elusive Hayabusa, and bake them into small pie-like pastries...
  13. HR31 GTS-R with a 2.4 bottom end, twin plate, Tein or JIC coilovers, a 2 way mechanical LSD, R33 brembos, fixed back recaro seat, and 16" RS watanabe rims.
  14. Erm, guys.... 180SX = RPS13 Silvia = S13 They are the same chassis, clothed in different panels. Suspension, mechanicals, brakes, and some interior parts are IDENTICAL. One is equally as good as the other. Apart from some minor details, stock they should handle basically the same, and they make the same power. Six of one, half a dozen of the other.
  15. R31's standard wheel offset is +25mm, with a 14x5.5" rim. Depending on the width of the rim involved, a higher offset may work so long as the wheel is wide enough to compensate.
  16. Oh, and what about that sportscar thing yamaha released a few years ago, with the V12 60 valve motor
  17. HR31 GTS-R and Tommy Kaira HR31 M30, if you please Oh, how about the 240RS nissan.
  18. Tell my why Bride seats are so good? Dealers ask prices for relatively shitty second hand ones that would buy you a new recaro or sparco seat, or a pair of cheaper ones like OBX's. Its bizarre. They don't even look to be especially good quality, maybe a bit better than say autotechnica but nothing flash?
  19. Would be if it had a S20 in it....
  20. Cool! well get back to me when you know!
  21. I might even have fixed my R31 by then, fingers crossed... I just need a pissy little fibreglass filler panel that runs under the headlights/on top of the bumper and then its off to the panelbangers!
  22. well, come down for november 15, theres a big cruise happening -http://www.hobartcruiseclub.com probably going to be 45+ cars....
  23. If its a series 3 front end, e.g the sloping lights, not the early pintara style one, then: I want the filler panel that goes under the lights/above the bumper on the front. I'll give you $75 plus whatever it costs to pack and ship it to me. PM ME OR EMAIL ME!!! [email protected]
