  1. Looks like another great weekend we missed... :-( The STI will be going in for surgery soon & will have some more mumbo for the next DECA!
  2. As stated above, invest in a better head unit and amplification. If you have a cheaper subwoofer in a CORRECTLY SIZED ENCLOSURE, it will run rings around a sub 10 times more expensive in a pre-fabricated enclosure. There are plenty of really good brands of woofers that perform exceptionally well from low powered amp's - in small ported enclosures. RE Audio make a 10" REX model that will blow you away in as small an enclosure as 0.65ft3 - ported! http://www.reaudio.com/woofers.html Daz. <edit> Pretty sure Alberts Cannington distribute RE Audio.
  3. Price Drop to $150. Can collect this weekend if needed.
  4. Item Description: 4x used RE55s. on wear indicators but could be used for motorkhanas/ practice session etc. Selling due to them being just too wide for my STI rims... Available for collection after the 31/07/09 (moving home). Pictures: Dirty round black things on the tread indicators... Condition: Useable - would get a few DECA's out of them. Age/Mileage: See above Price: $250 firm. ================================================= Contact: Daz. Email : [email protected] Phone: 0409 878 063 Location: Mt. Waverley VIC

  9. Great shots, Rialto. p.s. I still reckon your photography skills are wasted - being a pool cleaner.
  10. Great weekend as usual & big thanks to the volunteers & Micolour for their support! I reckon we should get the Lions van to cater at Taco Baz's place in future... Daz.
  11. Great event schedule! Well done to those who put it together & included a pic of my car! Heading up shortly...

  13. Looks like you all had an awesome time again! Spewing Lisa & I couldn't make it but we'll have 2 DECA's worth of shenanigans next time we're up. <goes & starts practising nudie runs> Daz.

  16. Item: AP Suretrack Torsen LSD Age: From a 2002 WRX STI Condition: Excellent Price: $500 To Fit: Various Datsun's & STI's. Location: Mt Waverley, Vic Contact: Darren: 0409 878 063 or: [email protected] Comments: Vehicle has done 78,000km or road use & a few motokhanas. Please note that this is the rear diff centre only as I have upgraded to a 2 way LSD.
  17. Hey all, I recently bought a plated rear LSD (from an STI Spec C) to upgrade my AP Suretrack LSD in my 2002 WRX STI. The LSD seems to be worn as there's bugger all performance difference compared to my old diff. I had it on a hoist (in the air) yesterday and when I spin one rear wheel, the other rear wheel doesn't move. It doesn't seem to single spin when on the gas, but it is AWD, so I doubt it has the power to break rear wheel traction - it has a front LSD too... As my diff centre is an R180 (similar to what the Datsun's use), does anyone know an approximate cost to have it rebuilt with new clutches/ steels? I'm thinking it's better to get a refund than pay to have it rebuilt. Royal PITA excersise to have done! Daz.
  18. With this event being cancelled, this just means that I'm the DECA Champion for even longer! Lol! It is a shame this event got canned but in my opinion, it also defeats the purpose of DECA. Lisa & I go up for 70% socialising & 30% competing. With only 20 entrants, the social aspect is compromised. I also think the economic climate may have contributed to making this look less attractive, with the increased costs involved? Can someone please tell me the name of the accommodation place we booked as I need to cancel... Keep up the good work, SAU. Daz.
  19. This might be getting a little too serious & expensive for my liking, sorry fellas... <procrastinates some more...> Daz.
  20. Will try catch up after another shindig we're attending... You're getting pretty old now, yeh? I've heard that if you get a golden shower from Peter Pan, you stay young forever. Daz.
  21. Were you the bloke at the table of 3, smoking & staring at me?! I thought you either: Liked my pooch in the back of the car Liked the VW Jetta Liked my girlfriend Liked me! Should've said G'day! Daz.
