  1. i just did what lunatik suggested and bedded them in. The squeal has gone down somewhat, but it is still there. Perhaps ill try this process over..
  2. Teena, if its possible, try what lunatik said and find an open space and bed the pads in. Read the artice and itll make more sense about what your mechanic was saying
  3. mate PM slide, hes on the gold coast (i think) and ive read somewhere that he can do them for $310 which includes flywheel machining and gearbox oil change, which is pretty damn good IMO. i paid $280 btw, but im in sydney.
  4. thanks for the help fellas. Hopefully, Dave as you say, it will reduce in time
  5. cheers Keymaker, ye i guess ill just have to put up with it. ill go to autobarn or repco and see what theyve got. the mechanic had another look at it and said its all fine but if i cant tolerate it, contact bendix and let them hear it and theyll supply new pads. anyone gone down this route and had success with new ones?
  6. hey, i changed my brakes pads (front and rears) to bendix ultimates less than a week ago and had all my discs machined. Now they are sqealing badly every time i brake. Is this just the pads wearing in, or is something not right? Thanks Anton
  7. Gt-rs, 2835 or highflow, if your chasing 250kws
  8. if theres anything that ive learned, its that a quick street car doesnt have to have huge max power, but rather good, average power. Therefore, on the street a 250rwk gts-t with a highflow, or a GTRS or something similar is going to be more responsive than a laggy 300rwk equivalent. Your not going to use 300rws on the street. I say for the street, even the basic mods with standard turbo, such as ECU, exhuast, 12psi of boost and a good intercooler is enough. If anything dont compromise response for max power.
  9. ...wow, they even make tablets for cars now...
  10. x2, i just put in my HD cushion button from slide. Feels good for the moment, and im just hoping it lasts for a while.
  11. hey mate, why dont you just go for drop in side feed injectors instead of top feed, such as tomei or nismo 740 cc injectors. Slide has them for $895 delivered. do you know what duty cycle your injectors are running. id say get a fuel reg as well if you want a quick fix solution to your injectors maxing out
  12. hey man, if you want them cheaper, your best off sourcing them from a wreck or someone with an s15, whose upgraded. best look through nissansilvia.com. s14 injectors are 380 cc
  13. i dont think matt's dyno is happy. i think you might have a highflow. did u try upping the boost and did it make more power
  14. easily handle that power, ull be lucky to get some for a few hundred dollars. ask Burnsie
  15. yeh s15 injectors are they way to go if your on a budget, based on severel peoples experiences, and apparently they can be from any manual s15, not just the jap spec.
  16. hey mate, youve definietely got the basic bolt on mods done. so the best thing to do is to up the boost as you plan to and get a Power fc with a tune. PM hanyou, as i think he is selling one at the moment. You should be able to do this within your price range of 1-2k. With a set of camgears, you should be hitting 250kws at the wheels.
  17. turbotech: cheap n easy if ur on a budget, that is. otherwise a good electric one: e-boost, blitz dual sbc spec R, AVCR, g'redy Profec. ive got the blitz, holds boost well, no real spiking. From what ive heard all these are quite good, just some have a few extra options..

  21. hello Liz u seem kinda confused. are you after a front bar for you car, or a front mounted intercooler??? Also try posting in the wanted to buy section, youll probably have more luck on whatever it is that your after
  22. dude if your friend is so stupid not to know its only a four cylinder, then just tell him to google the factory specs of the 200sx, and he'll find out for himself
  23. dude, dont wreck someone else's for sale thread
  24. 200 without any form of managment seems pretty good. how does the car pull on boost?
