  1. mate youve done all the mods you can do before you change the internals. Im thinking if you want more grunt, considering you have a bigger turbo, crank up the boost. What turbo do you have, so that someone can tell you what level of boost is efficient. Say, if youve got a big turbo such as a gt 3040, you would need to run higher than 10 psi to get good power. but then to get even more power, youd need to change internals to support the stress on your motor
  2. its funny that this thread has come up...a guy at my uni slashed up a cabbie the other night and dumped his body in a park nearby..wonder why? revenge maybe?
  3. anyone else?
  4. its not worth taking the risk cos with this view, it might srsly end up costing you more dollars than you bargained for. If your going to do at some point, why not just do it now, cos at 280 rwhp, you'd be pretty much close to maxing it up. Sometimes you cant even notice have much it is leaning out. i'd say just change it, before you do long term damage
  5. dude, its not hard to do a google search 0425 818 755 Unit 5 / 9 Alick Rd Brooklyn, Victoria Australia, 3012
  6. my bad, sorry for the wrong info, i just though being rb25, it'd be the same
  7. hey man both the r34 gt-t and the r33 gts-t use 370 cc side feed injectors. Hence they are not an upgrade. if you do want an upgrade, try and source some s15 manual injectors rated at 440 cc (im not 100% sure if they are only in jap spec models) from ns or boostcruising.
  8. hey mate it can be two things, now that youve cheked the relay. this is what you can do. pull of the enitre door cover and go to a wrecker. 1. switch 2. regulator (motor) ask to try a new switch. Even though u can still hear the tick, sometimes the switch may be stuffed. If the new switch doesnt work, dont replaced it just yet, ask them for a regulator. In the door, theres a lil clip that you can take out without having to put the new regulator in. just get the new regulator and plug it in and then press the switch. if the regultor spins, youll defintely need a new one (the power is obviously there, its just that your old one was suffed and hence, not spinning). now put your old switch back in without taking the new reg out. if the reg works, with your old switch, then you only need the reg. if it doesnt than you need both a switch and a new reg. If you can make sense of what im saying youll definetly solve your issue
  9. yup payless at hornsby are very good, i got my 595's from there. i paid 200 for my 235's at the front and 240 for my 265's fitted
  10. srsly, i thought my car had a boost leak as well cos it didnt go anywhere through 2, 3 ,4 and 5. the boost guage was still hitting boost but the car was just revving like it was in nuetral with no speed. i think a lot of people, like myself think its a boost leak when its really a slipping clutch
  11. srsly, stop opening so many new threads man
  12. PM sent
  13. first do yourself a search..then you might find some of the following useful mods * full exhuast (dump pipe, front pipe, high flow cat, catback) * a bigger intercooler * add more boost, safely 10 -12 psi * improve your intake with a panel or pod filter (enclosed) * some form of engine management (haltech, power fc, ems) or piggyback system (SAFC, emanage) this should get you with some nice power Then make sure u can put this power to the ground effectively with a good suspension setup, a stronger clutch and tyres if u want more power, ull need to change your turbo, fuel pump, injectors, and AFM is ur not using engine management with a map sensor. but this will require more than 5 k
  14. anyone have good condition LOWERED springs and aftermarket shocks for an r33 gtst, perhaps remaining after an upgrade to coilovers that they would like to sell in sydney? Cheers Anton (0410481565)
  15. if only they would have fitted an r33 gtst, i would have scooped them up. can the strut top be changed to fit an r33 gtst?
  16. how much did it cost, just out of curiosity?
  17. theres a reco place that a guy got his done in brisbane for like $250 each...if only in sydney
  18. sorry to bring up an old thread, ive got ohlins coilovers but the front two shocks are leaking. i was wondering if anyone knows anywhere in NSW that can rebiuld them and at what cost, based on your exeperience. Cheers
  19. thanks duncan, any idea how much it may cost to rebuild two leaking front shocks
  20. you reckon i should get them rebuilt? srs?
  21. ok had a better look with jack today, it appears ive got coilovers all round..back ones look fine, front are leaking bad..oil is also heavily noticable on the bushes...ill fix that up but im thinking, its worthless getting the shocks repaired but i dont have much money to waste atm..im not going to be using this car for track, so do you think i can jus source some standard strut tops and put springs on for the front..
  22. lol, dude its not as simple as changing the switch around. i didnt change any wires over, every coloured wire matches up like the old one, theres only two going in and two going out
