  3. mate, i say go with a high flow, that way u can run the turbo at its max efficiency instead of only using say a 3040 at well less than its max potenital. Alternitvely u can go down the hks route with a 2535 or from the feedback from users online, the 2835. I think 30's are too big for ur setup, cos im in the same boat
  4. hi ive got an r33 style GTR front bar to suit an r33 gts-t. its fibreglass in burgundy but damaged. As you can see from the photos, the front bit at the bottom is missing. Also it has quite a few spots where it needs new paint. It also has a few cracks here and there but could be fixed with a fibreglass repair kit. In light of its state, i just want $50 firm for it.   6. hey bud, all u need is a new switch, cos ur old one is shaggered (thats why its constantly holding down and thereby frying ur motor) u can buy a 2nd hand switch from a wrecker (some people on here are even wrecking their skylines) or u could try SSS automotives in sydney

MONUS - I believe running no air filter would blow your engine eventually .. mainly because you get to much air flow and unless you have a good pump it will lean out .. secondly it will suck shit into ur engine and end up cloging the engine and extreme situations wreck pistons, ring etc .. I can only imagine havnt heard it happening.. it may well, but i was just responding to the comment that it will blow it up because without a filter there would be a lack of air flow
  8. do u have any any what u r talking about? how will not having an air filter blow up your engine. It will cause all sorts of shit to get into the engine which will cause problems. But its not restricitng airflow. In fact, without an air filter, youll get more flow

  10. hey there people, ive decided its time to move into my next stage of mods. ive done boost, pfc, fuel pump, intercooler, full exhuast. now ive looked at 4 turbos: the a highflow, hks 2835, 3037, 3071 and 3040. Im leaning towards the 2835 because after researching, this turbo seems to produce the greatest balance between peak power and reponsiveness. im also interested in the high flow seeing that a lot of people have had good results, but i think ill be a happy at 240 -250 rwks for a while and then want more. so maybe i think ill just settle on for a bolt on upgrade which will net 270-280rwks I just need some opinions on anyone with any of these turbos. What peak power did u produce? what is midrange like? lag? when does it reach maximum boost? i also think ill stay with low mount internal gate, but id just like to know if anybody could suggest why it mayb be better to choose external gate and the difficulties going down that route. finally, ill also be pruchasing a set of 555 cc injectors and since im using pfc, im going get a z32 afm. Do i need a fuel pressure reg if i have the injectors? also is there anything else i need, such as a set of camgears (exhuast side)? Thanks in advance Anton

  12. dude its the clutch fork..do a search, u have to go underneath the car and pinpoint a specific area and lubricate it. i think mad082 had some pictures on here b4
  13. srsly, the GTR is a machine in stock form. it should smoke mildy worked sr20's anyday as a stocker. Maybe work on launches Anyhow dude with a GTR all u need is a power fc + tune which will cost you maybe around 2 k U dont need to worry about intercooler as the GTR core is sufficient. U say u have pods, so u only have two other things to do. 1. get some dump + front pipes with hi flow cat. just go to justjap. theyll do u a good price for less than 1.5 k surely 2. get a boost controller that'll hold boost right through the rev range. u can go with one of those turbotech manual ones but since u got 4 k get an ebc. With a power fc + full exhuast + boost controller @ 14 psi, i think ull easily net 250 rwks. Den u sud be running some 11's. meh no chance for midly worked sr20's, even with a bad launch. :laughing-smiley-014:
