  3. silly lankan, meaning silly sri-lankan? hehe. nah man, if ur cars bob stock, you mite wanna do these depending on ur budget: * pod filter/panel filter * turbo back exhaust *some sort of boost controller. a mechanical one shud be fine, running a safe 10psi * front mount intercooler or a better flowing sidemount given these mods u shud feel a strong increase in power
  4. ok, guys n gurls, throw me sum offers..it'll make a great christmas present!
  5. mate, just bolt on a turbo off an rb25

  12. man, y do u gotta keep opening up these ancient threads?
  13. it doesnt matter at what boost, it will always flow more air and send your ecu into shock. best thins is to get all the supporting mods at the same time as the power fc
  14. buy one..get rid of the N/A
  15. unigroup crd hitman Unique Rigoli Advan BEL's garage dont pay much more than 500 for a full tune.
  16. when it comes to tyres man, the best advice i can give you is buy GOOD new tyres! unless its for drifitng, i wudnt bother with 2nd hands.
  17. it may cause pinging. Safe to clean it out
  18. as he sed, finish ur exhaust, buy a boost controller and an ecu and tune it. i wudnt run it for too long or give it too hard until uve tuned it, just to be on the safe side.
  19. i say the only way to resolve this is to hear from people who have purchased GTR's be it r32 for approx 20k or r33, 25 to 30 k. Im sure there's plenty of people who have, and have had no probs. But, hey ill leave it to them.
  20. i dunno what ur going on about buddy. all im saying is that their prices have fallen..im sure other people think this too..probably explains why it takes so long to sell one and even then its well below the mark that the seller wants for it. just for the record, no i havent owned a GTR but im actively looking for one and have been for some time. A year ago i couldnt find one for less than 30-35k, but now the 95 and 96 models are predominantly in the 25k to 30 range. its not just the car mate, its how much people are now willing to pay for them.
  21. jeez man, u speak like u know every GTR inside out. there are plenty of people who have bought GTR's for cheap and have not had any major problems. Maybe its time u face reality and go learn some economics.
  22. i see that this thread has completely gone off track. u were originally asking for advice about insurance and now it seems to be advice about owning a skyline. None of what we say here is going to change ur mind, cos ur young n ignorant. My only advice for you is if you have the money, and you really want a skyline, buy one. Jus learn some self-control. i say 'learn' cos ur a twat who got his license suspended at 17. Obviously you dont buy this car to drive like a granny. But 'when' you decide to squirt the car every now and then, just beware of the consequences. I cudnt resist the urge at 18 to buy my car, but i also learned to be smart with it. In regards to insurance, dont get 3rd party by itself, cos u will get next to nothing back in the event of something going wrong. So if ur prepared to pay several thousands each year, go ahead. its ur money, not ours.
  23. it will still be registered as a turbo car even if u persue ur idea
  24. i have the same exhaust. its a very nice sound, unlike the loud, drony noises of some of the local ones.
