  1. for breathing, eating, making expressions...you know, basically life. oh, and she'd look weird without one too.
  2. kewl, cheers. but wouldnt you be able to see the corrections %, and how many are set on your safc screen anyway? i've heard some safc tunes have only used maybe 6 points. wouldnt this defeat the purpose of say a safc2 that has 12 available tune points ?
  3. that's choice and for old time's sake
  4. can u post a pic of the actual gearknob, to show condition. thanks.
  5. who else? i'm interested too. how many load points did they tune? all 12 on an safc2?
  6. been said 100 times, but here it is again. zeds are expensive to maintain. no one wants to work on them coz they are so time consuming and charge accordingly, and some parts can be a long wait to find. they're also getting older and cheaper now, so if you want it, i suggest you ask for cash on top. i considered getting one a little while ago, and did alot of test driving and research. there are alot of dodgy ones around, and they are starting to show their age, wear and tear. they are a totally different car to drive. i like them, but in the end, skyline FTW.
  7. it doesnt look right, but says here the HR came out with n/a 2litre. lookie here http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/nissan/skyline/1995_1/
  8. how long of a downhill are we talking about? my car is warm after about 2kms, only a few minutes. i'd say change ur thermostat and you should be right. mine stays a touch under half once its warmed up. downhill or not.
  9. yeah true, that thing sux. but if i took my car in for work and the fuuckers treated it like that, i'd be pissed off. annoying or not, there'd be some teeef flying.
  10. that's soooo shiny how muchie dorra?
  11. they're called skids????? by who, your nanna ? so who's who in the zoo, anyway. all these pics, no names attached.
  12. hate those bronco retards especially Webcke the corksucker
  13. good thing he was friendly, hey?
  14. looks great man i love the cold air intake pipe sticking out thru the front bar like a muthafuucker ready to eat everything in its way.
  15. i'll pay 5 dorra for postage. is that good enough ? cmon, you know u wanna.
  16. I tested the resistance at the temp sensor terminals. 2.85k ohms when cold/sitting overnight. 0.31k ohms when warmed up/after 15min drive. so it looks good to me. cheers man. thanks for your help. if anyone is selling a used safc2, cheap, PM me.
  17. is there anything sicaflex cant do ? the answer is no.
  18. where do u get the mesh? what types? cost?
  19. are coolers one way? or can u run air thru them in either direction ?
  20. do i keep the car running when measuring the resistance across the temp sensor terminals? or motor off, ignition on? or other ?? also, just to verify, this is the sensor i'm checking, right ?
  21. i'm getting about 15L/100kms. BP Ultimate 98. Ive tried mobil, caltex, but not shell. keep hearing so many bad things about optimax. At the end of the day, highway vs city/short trips, makes a huge difference. that's why u get some R33 owners claiming 500kms to a tank, and others getting 250kms. Will be hunting down a cheap used safc2 (anyone selling???) to fit and tune soon, but i want to make sure the temp sensor is doing its job first.
  22. that helps alot. thanks man. will check that out.
  23. well seeing as i dont like wasting money please explain. tested how?
  24. My mechanic told me that 2 common things that cause bad fuel economy on skylines are the 02sensor, and the ecu temp sensor. changed my 02 sensor a while ago, no improvement. so is the temp sensor worth trying? i think they're only about $50.
  25. silent, that looks great man. looks kinda purple-ish, but prob just reflections. did u find it hard to fit back after all those coats?
