  1. that's what happened to me. then u give it a boot full on a narrow bumpy street somewhere (as opposed to fwy) and you remeber how damn hard it goes. lol
  2. so then what's the guesstimated conversion from flywheel kw to rear wheel kw ?
  3. this is an old thread, but i got a question. do you need to disconnect the battery before you begin installation?
  4. NewKleer, thanks again mate. always very helpful EDIT: let me just add, the quote i got over the phone was $400 !! My response was "O....K, i'll be sure to get back to you". (wont name the tuner, not unigroup)
  5. and how much would it cost to get tuned on a dyno, with the tuner doing the tuning ? how much to tune safc2 ? havent done any tuning thus far, so not sure, but i did get a quote that sounded tooo high.
  6. work of art. u got my vote. more pics !!!
  7. who can tune the DFA in Sydney? would you expect most tuners to be able to work with it?
  8. this is what makes me worry. you were getting 380kms from 180rwkw before safc. i'm only getting 300kms from practically stock (3"exhaust, pod). cleaned afm, changed 02 sensor, new plugs, car runs fine.
  9. as dumb as it is, imagine the look on the cop's faces when he started revving up in the lot. geeeeeeeeeeeez.
  10. just get the carbon fibre bonnet and leave the rest. that is all.
  11. wank factor = 11
  12. i like the orange. nice tuff bonnet and smooooooth boot. but i gotta say, not a big fan of the black roof. kinda kills the flow of the coupe lines.

  15. 1080 dorra or 1320 for carbon fibre. http://www.powerplayimports.com/index.php?...t&cat_id=51
  16. why do we need to know? why ???
  17. lol @ dan. toooo funny
  18. i knew i saw one on ebay last night here it is http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISSAN-R33-SKYLINE-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  19. i guess a tuned safc would also get some power gains? or more accurately, power throughout the rev range?
  20. kewl, i likie this thread. here are some of my old ones.
  21. so how do u tune a stock ecu? with no safc etc?
  22. o2 has been changed. made no difference. but i gotta say, freeway kms make a big difference. i got 380k's off a tank, where 200kms of that was on the freeway. and that's with plenty of boosting. hmmmm, exhaust, never thought of that. i've got 3inch turbo back. my mechanic told me to try the temp sensor. but u know how it is, all these sensors cost money, and alot of the time, nil results.
  23. yeah i have already sussed that out, and seen pics of other sau member's ducting. seems pretty easy, especially with this front bar. but i'm still using the stock smic. on that subject, u know when u stuff around with the intake and exhaust (pod and 3 inch), it throws the stock ecu off a bit, hence worse economy, and probably rich issues. does this get worse with the addition of a fmic? also, i've heard ppl reporting greater lag on stock turbos with fmic, and others reporting better response. what's ur take on this?
  24. i run mine till just above empty, but then when i refill it takes 45 - 50 litres. example, i got 310km on 47Litres (the amount i had to pump to get back to full tank). that's about 15L/100kms. not too good. ppl here are reporting 11L/100km. of course if i was doing freeway kms, it would probably be alot better. anyway, that's the most accurate way to check.
