  1. What type of light bulb fits there anyways? Mine came with no bulb. I tried a couple of types, but no luck.
  2. Is that for 18", similar size? A friend of mine just bought an Ford FPV Turbo 6. He has 19" from the factory. The tyre placard says 38psi. That's what got me thinking. Also the jarring shocks from the cr4ppy sydney roads feel awful through my front tyres.
  3. I have 18" 235/40 at the front, and 18" 265/35 at the rear. My mechanic told me 34psi all round. (By the way, he's an idiot, wont be using him anymore. Stuffed my timing belt fitting. But that's another post). My rear tyres look nice and pumped, but my fronts look a bit low. What pressures do you guys use with same tyre sizes? I know it's been asked before, and yes i searched, and read the posts, but alas, here we are. Couldnt get a straight answer. Very differing opinions. I am just using it for street driving, no drag, no track. cheers
  4. Great tutorial Randy.
  5. I dont see the point of it being a Skyline, or a Ford Laser. The guy wasnt doing 0-100 in 5secs, he was driving a car. any car. you can break the speed limit in any car, cant you? Of course, that's assuming the driver did anything wrong at all. Still, it's a sad state of affairs, and wouldnt wish either end on anyone.
  6. That's what i want to know. If these are actually gel, or a non water type, i'd be very interested. by the way, which model fits in the R33 boot?
  7. yeah, just checked. there is one right up inside the drivers side rear. but the rest of the lower inner guard is exposed. i really thought mine was missing because i just assumed, like most other cars, there would be one for deflecting stones etc.
  8. No wonder i couldnt find any info on it.
  9. They dont have them? Geeeeeeeeeez !!! If that's the case, I might make some up. They only have to be high enough to deflect stones, so shouldnt be too hard. Do you get stones flying up off your rear tyres ? Sound really bad from inside the cabin.
  10. My R33 S1 has no rear inner wheel well plastic guard thingy, for deflecting stones and cr4p. The front inner guards are fully enclosed, no prob there. I'm assuming it should have it, but mine came without. The 265's on the back love throwing rocks and cr4p up, and it sounds bad from inside the cabin. Can anyone confirm that it should indeed have these plastic inner guards at the rear. I'm assuming they only partially cover the inner guard, probably just behind the rear tyre. Any pics, or descriptions would be appreciated. Also, what are they actually called? And if anyone has spares, let me know.
  11. Yeah plumb back might be the way to go. I've got a GFB Hybrid bov. U can plumb back full, half, or have full atmo. It's just a matter of replacing the trumpet with the screw in plug. I actually prefer the flutter sound it makes now rather than the loud pshhhhht blow off sound. I think you only really get that if you are running a pod and maybe exhaust. As for fuel economy, cant say yet, only plumbed back yesterday. And yes, looks to me too like the nissan fuel gauge is not proportional. On a crappier note, the f*cker that sold me my car claimed the timing belt and 100k service had been done. After chasing him up for the receipt he promised he'd dig up, he finally spits out that it hadnt been done. So i'm getting it looked at today, coz now I have now idea what it actually needs. I've heard others say, when you get the car, change everything regardless. Sounds like good advice. Hoping it's got old plugs. Coz if it does, that might explain fuel economy too.
  12. I dont like coke. But i might go have some caffeine cheers
  13. cheers mate. Already PM'd him.
  14. Are they sealed batteries? No caps on top for topping up water? I think i saw some at supercheap a while ago, but wasnt sure if they were sealed. Think they were Bosch "european" or something like that.
  15. How much are these batteries? What type? Are they sealed? Do they fit straight in? etc etc I just cant be bothered reading 15 pages to find out.
  16. Which battery did u get for the R33 ? The battery in mine is not sealed, and the terminals almost touch the speakers.
  17. SOLD - PENDING PAYMENT/PICKUP
  18. Joe, if you're thinking of using these as road tyres, the tread is very low. They'd be good for tearing it up, making some good smoke clouds, etc.
  19. I assume they would have no punctures, or my mate would have said something at the time. But then again, I dont know for sure, as I havent tried them for myself. I tell you what, if they are stuffed, for whatever reason, I'll give your money back, and you can keep the tyres. How's that ? Although I am relying on your honesty here. It must be the FMIC of yours, it's making me light-headed Here's are some better pics.
  20. Yep series 1. cheers What do you think of the boost gauge line tapping into the main vacuum line that runs to my bov? I just want to know if it might cause any probs there. (pic in the first post)
  21. $40 ? that's $10 a tyre Don't tell me no one wants to rip these babies up on a slow weekend.
  22. can we see some pics please ??
  23. I have Pinnacle Studio 9. Not a bad app. Has alot of options, quick and easy to use.
