  1. if i was shopping for a skyline, i'd be inclined to buy one from sau, with a decent owner, who has looked after their car. you can easily tell who they are.
  2. thats all he needs to do. the rest can be done on your own, at normal service intervals as you see fit. 5000kms for oil/filter. 10k kms for copper plugs, etc
  3. corky bell - maximum boost you can download the pdf. search google.
  4. that sticker is there from factory, telling you the belt must be changed at 100,000kms. the fact is, if you dont have receipts proving it's been done, you really should get it done yourself. you just dont want that thing letting go.
  5. i had a guy try to sell me this stuff at a servo. i pulled up to check air press in my tyres. he came over and did a sample area on my lower rear quarter. the car was filthy at the time. and as i watched him wipe, i felt a little sick, and said - 'stop, i dont want any.' lol. it just doesnt seem right.
  6. arthur's method is a little suss. coz... i heard you shouldnt run the power steering pump with no fluid, because it uses the fluid to lubricate itself, so running it dry might cause damage. kinks' method seems more appropriate. i was thinking of changing mine soon, coz my p/s fluid looks a little brown. anyone have other methods of doing this?
  7. see where its stamped TYP D32. That means 320mm diameter, not 350mm.
  8. it might bolt up, but theyre a different shape at the nose. wont sit right around lights and grill.
  9. cant believe a cube has better aerodynamics than a 32. LOLZ. but as mentioned. everything else on and about your car will have more affect than the CD at freeway speeds. your tyres for example. wide, sticky, agressive tread pattern. that will slow you down. gearing, that will do it. fat gf, that will definitely do it. ask boz.
  10. it's not your problem. unless you provided some kind of magic mushroom private sale warranty. the authorities are not going to care about his story. he bought it a month ago. end of story.
