  1. oh do they? i thought i was the only one who finds this p1g to be an abrassive piece of shit that only seems to post negative junk and generally wants to rub everyone up the wrong way.
  2. hahaha. why so high? why not just offer him a pack of chips and a can of coke? small chips. not those big expensive ones!
  3. what about the steering position sensor in the r33? located behind the steering wheel / boss kit. its the round disc with the tab that fits through the slot in hicas specific boss kits / standard wheel. it was mentioned above that once removed, it had no bearing on power steering weight, etc. can i get a confirmation or otherwise about removing this sensor?
  4. no grip. so true. i drove my mate's 350z track 6sp. i drove it fast but carefully, since it's not my car. it seemed to handle brilliantly when kept within reasonable limits. then he drove. i said, show me what its got. we proceeded to fishtail, donut, and basically travel sideways for the next 10 mins. lol.
  5. I have a Samsung SP43W6HFX/XSA rear projection tv for sale. It stopped working a few days ago. I was going to get it repaired, but bought an LCD tv instead. I'm almost certain i know what the issue is. The convergence chips have fried. This is a common problem for these sets. I had this same thing repaired about 3 or 4 years ago on this tv. It's about $250 - $300 to get someone out to do it. If you do repairs, this is a cheap fix for you. $100 Pick up from Bexley, Sydney. (near Rockdale)
  6. +11ty gazillion and a little bit biased
  7. seven fitty here too
  8. it happens at random times for me. the site is working fine, and then i'll open a thread or two or three, and bam, nothing, the pages just sit there. sometimes they'll load after a minute or two, other times they'll 404. in the meantime i'm browsing other sites without issue. it happens in spurts. so maybe a few minutes later, it's back to normal.
  9. how much clamp? i got a Jim berry clutch made up. 2300lbs. full face organic. about $500 delivered. it's obviously his lower spec'd clutch, and currently it's only dealing with 220-ish kw for now. but when compared to the silver hd exedy, for the price, + higher clamp rating, it was the obvious choice. I'll find out how it holds up to more power in the near future. but for now it's great.
  10. so true. white leather interior, illuminated make-up mirror, and diamond encrusted tampon holder... they all go with the 20 inch rims.
  11. yeah that's nice. But it doesnt tell me where the HKS 2535 fits in. afaik it falls about 15kw short of a gt-rs, with killer response. so what is it's garrett equiv? just how much smaller is it than the 2871. if the 2530 is good bang for buck, but somewhat underpowered, and the gt-rs is a great performer, but way overpriced, the 2535 should be Goldilocks' pick.
  12. yep, r33 gtst needs rear seat removed and parcel shelf too.
  13. if a HKS 2540 is roughly equiv to the Garrett 2876R, then is the HKS 2535 closest to the Garrett 2871R? I've always thought the 2871R was similar to the HKS GT-RS. educate me
  14. not sure about the blitz, but many of these smoke face type that need to be lit up during the day, often have an extra wire that hooks up to a light source. ie. illuminated ring around the cig lighter. when they detect the lights are on (night time) the gauge light dims accordingly. maybe yours has this extra wire too, and you just missed it, or didnt hook it up correctly?
  15. i found GIO to be cheapest in my case
  16. she is so good at doing those designs. i dare you to let her tattoo you once she's done with the car!
  17. maybe he meant the best looking zed. but that's not true either lol coz then you have the 240z and 350z, which are both better looking. dont get me wrong. i love the zeds. almost bought a z32. but i just wasnt commited enough to deal with the maintenance. plus theyre heavy fkrs, and very thirsty when you drive them hard. plus ive seen old ladies driving them around no shit!
  18. just a guess, but it looks like a turbo timer.
  19. no he didnt fit an lsd. apparently to replace the diff was some stupid amount of dollars. he sold it now anyway and bought a sedate 2L supercharged merc. really nice car. not a powerhouse, but good for cruising etc.
  20. thats very very cool. does she get dizzy after a while from a combo of texta fumes and wavy lines?
  21. haha yep, thats the one. you can appreciate how impressed i was when i drove it. the power just kept pouring on like there was no end to it. shame about the open wheeling diff though.
  22. http://www.burgertuning.com/ my mate installed their chip, filter, and boost lines, on his 335i twin turbo 08/09? all up around 1k if i recall. great results, no tune, no dyno, no mods.
