this is my vdo gauge with 666dan's white led in it. it has a white aluminium face. the blue is not as obvious as it looks in the pic. yes i know its not some crazy jdm gauge, but its accurate and perdy enough for me

i'm not sure. i got mine from 666dan off this forum. but that was a while ago. not sure if he still does them. i reckon you could find them on ebay.

i swapped out my regular bulby type buld with a T10 LED like these its just the right amount of brightness IMO. but you have to stuff around with the bulb holder to make it fit. its not very hard though. i used the white leds, and it shows up with a hint of blue in it. looks good.

and to add to that list. if you have series 1 coils, they have springs in them. when you get the coils out, remove the springs, and stretch them before putting them back in. it helps make better contact with the spark plug. you are probably seeing more boost now than before the fmic install. its common. hence the extra boost + weak spark = misfire.

is the turbo timer part of the alarm, or a stand-alone? in my case, i switch the turbo timer on (standalone, was wired up to work with the alarm), take the keys out of the ignition, car continues to idle. get out, close the doors, hold down the lock button on the alarm for 3 secs or so, till it beeps, the doors lock, and thats it. once the turbo timer switches off, the immobilizer kicks in.

hey. just a quick thanks to everyone. i got back a couple of days ago. had a fkn great time there. its no where near as expensive as ppl make out. we did tokyo, osaka, kyoto, and surrounding areas. subways were great. every city we went to, we just grabbed a day pass in the morning (buses for kyoto) for between 500 to 1000yen and travelled all day. you cant go wrong. The JR 7 day pass worked out well to cover the Shinkansen long trips. all in all, it was an awesome trip. i would live there!! and i never say that about anywhere ive been before extra thanks to akeenan, and streeter for your time and guidance. cheers guys
