  1. whats a suica card? is that for the tokyo area? and DR ENVY, where the hell did you find 4 star hotels for $110 per night!!!??? PM me when you get back.
  2. there's no option for I want a new hoodie...but i'm scared i cant believe it, but i might be in too. of course, that's if i'm not banned from SA group buys due to my previous outbursts but yeah, quality is a big one for me this time.
  3. i think running in only applies to journal bearing turbos. not sure how or why they need it though.
  4. is that 325mm all around? and i know these arent bilsteins. you have the greddy type s coilovers in there. whats the standard ride height, front and rear? anyone know? i think i read somewhere 375mm, but not sure if thats only front. i just picked up a set of tein super streets, and wondering how low they can go on the 33. btw joeyjoejoeyoufknbastardilovethelookofyourcar
  5. thats farked!!! i messaged him about these coilovers a while ago too. but no response. i would have had my mate pic them up in melbourne for me. there's no way you should transfer that much to some unkown person without any security.
  6. well ideally, you leave the circlips in the standard position. (350mm centre of wheel to guard) if you drop the height, you shorten the stroke of the shock, and you're stuffing up the whole setup. ive been warned and triple warned about this, and that's why i cant commit to using this setup. ive tried to convince myself, but 350mm is too high. lol anyway, i'm not an expert, so ask daniel from elite racing. he will send you a very detailed reply. edit: actually, i'd like to see pics of some cars that are using SK's or Elite Racing's bilstein set up to see just how high or low it looks. caaaarn guys. shows us ur bilsteins
  7. hahaha. ohhh man. it always boils down to a blow job doesnt it and yeah if i had caught the kunts that did it, i would have used their faces to clean the paint off. then set them on fire. dunno why, but i like the fire idea. seems somehow befitting
  8. yeah thats for R33. i just assumed lol. the kings have progressive rates front and rear. I think the whitelines are only progressive rears. Eibach would also be a good choice, but you need to be careful with matching the spring rate to the damper. So if you stay with approx the same spring rate it should be ok.
  9. yeah i did some research into this already, and with sloazr33's help, i came up with these part numbers. The springs he used were whiteline. I think the fronts were 4kg and the rears were ~3kg Part numbers: Front: Spring-coil Lowering Kit WSL - Control - 73175 Rear: Spring-coil Lowering Kit WSL - Control - 83139 The shocks are Bilstein B6 Sport Part Numbers: Front: #F4-B46-1873-H0 Rear: #F4-B46-1916-H0 SK's shocks had extra circlip grooves (for height adjustment) machined into the shock body. They dont come standard off the shelf with these, but you can request this from your supplier. Also, i've been told that King Springs in a similar rate, are a better alternative. Contact Daniel at Elite Racing. He does this exact package with the king springs.
  10. yeah street parking for the lose. she lives inner city. off street parking is a luxury. i get so paranoid when i park my car there overnight.
  11. hey let's leave your gambling addiction out of this ok, less whore, more answers
  12. i went to a shit school, where the results favour me every time lol
  13. ahhh so a little conservative, and a little bit happy, evens out at 220 in your case. we're getting closer lol
  14. lol well that was a nice round trip but i'm sticking to my 230, happy dynos or not. edit: anyway, lets tell the guy what he wanted to know. which turbo. hks2535 or gt-rs. buy a used one, if on a budget. either of these is my pick over the highflow.
  15. bahhh 190kw? cmon man, are you kidding? firstly let's exclude afms that have been found in the local river, and we'll also exclude spaz engines/ecu's that r&r at 10psi (other issues at play here) then we can assume, under normal circumstances, 230kw wouldnt be a stretch.
  16. ^ that doesnt sound right. injectors should see you to 230-240rwkw. afm should still be in resolution to about 230kw at least?
  17. Found my gf's lancer this morning, looking like this. The poor girl was in tears, and she's pretty damn tough!!! Yeah, they got it on there pretty fkn thick!!! So I thought, hmmm (after the urge to kill subsided), what can we do about this? Prepsol !!! (or any generic wax and grease remover) A little bit of elbow grease, and a few clean cotton tshirts later. i think i got it on the camera lense And finally ... its all gone. Even the caked on thick parts which i thought would never come off. It could use a good buff and polish now. But it looks pretty damn good for 60 mins work. so now you know. if this happens to your car, grab some prepsol, poor it over the offender, and light them on fire. or if you cant find them, just use it to clean the paint off
  18. the whiring isnt meant to be there at all. its overtensioned. mine did it the day i got it changed. took it back, got them to retension it (fkn monkeys) and the noise immediately stopped. and as for the loose fan belt noise, i'm assuming you mean squealing. thats definately not the timing belt, as it has teeth on it, and wont slip in a way that it can squeal.
  19. coilovers for r33. what's it got?
  20. my guess is they are VH have a look here. http://www.bcracing-na.com/products/nissan.html the last number on the spring is spring rate in kg. 12/6 for r33 i dont mean to get involved in this guy's sale thread, but i hate to see someone buy something under false pretense. i was going to buy these when i thought they were pedders, till i saw the pics. hence my comments. this is the type of thing you expect on Boostcruising, not SAU
  21. Cheers Rezz We're going to Osaka and Kyoto, and will probably try to make at least 2 or 3 more cities besides Tokyo. So the JR pass is looking good...or is it? I will definately look into the Kansai Pass too. But then you'd think a similar pass for Tokyo would be wise. Man, who knew public transport would end up costing twice as much as the flight. lol
  22. you should probably show us what your airbox looks like, and tell us how much you are thinking of charging for it. most people here, can make, or have already made their own airbox. others have bought one. but if yours looks incredible, and is selling at a good price, you might be onto something.
  23. From the pics you showed me, i told you they look like BC to me. But they are not the BR series. They look to be the older BC type, with red collars. The BR series have gold collars. like this
  24. i'm waiting for the pic but if these are the same coilovers you told me were pedders extreme xa's, you're wrong again theyre not BC BR series.
