  1. ME NO LIKIE!!!
  2. $100 for a cheap pod? thats a bit much. You can get the Apexi pod off here for under $100, no adapter required. Also, if you want to use 'better' brands, you cant go wrong buying used stuff off this forum, or wherever you find it.
  3. that's WEAK Vin!!!!! this is what he needs
  4. Just curious. If Paul Walker wants a GTR, what is Vin Diesel looking for? oh, and good luck with it
  5. are you really expecting a better answer than this? (from your last thread) he's gone to much effort to explain it to you. go get it looked at, or try the stuff thats been recommended
  6. you can take a tuned ecu/piggyback and sit it on a shelf for years. it will still retain all its settings. if they shorted it out, then maybe the unit is now faulty?
  7. thats a Z31 it almost deserves to have that conversion done to it. ALMOST
  8. Tempe tyres always come in lower than Taleb Tyres. Ive been back and forth several times in the past with the same result. Tempe sell the Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 fairly cheap. They are a decent budget performance tyre.
  9. that was everyone's favourite 34 GTR
  10. because if he buys a car, and then finds that he somehow is in debt to a lending institution, he is going to forcefully induce bleeding to the 3rd party. ok?
  11. go with the bellmouth stainless. get a better cat than the just jap ceramic highflow. they have an overpriced xforce metalllic highflow. but any metallic highflow cat will do a good job. then get a tune then go see your mechanic, and tell him he's sooo wrong. then do some skids as you leave. then go back and look out your window at him, and say "seeeeeee?" then come back here and tell us how much better everything feels now that it can breath freely. then go home and eat some food. it will taste better than ever before. your girlfriend will look hotter. your friends will seem less annoying. then later on, prank call your mechanic. but seriously, do it. its well worth it. theyre so damn cheap anyway. $200 for jjr stainless front/dump bellmouth? based on a true story. names and places have been changed. vehicle was an r33.
  12. Hey Ash. I got the pioneer head unit today. good job on the packing Installed it. You were right. It sounds fkn great, even with the factory speakers in the gf's car. Cheers man I left you some positive feedback.
  13. when i first got my car, it had an atmo venting bov (a blow off valve that goes psssshhhhht into the air). i had this same type of stall happen to me a few times, randomly, always when coming onto the brakes with clutch in. the more sudden the action, the more likely it was to almost stall, occasionally stalling. plumbed the bov back in. never had this issue again. so, if you dont have a blow off valve, forget everything i said. if you do, i would consider this a high priority on your check list. edit: i just read your original post again, and realised you may have just been idleing at the lights, not coming onto the brakes at all. if so, its prob not the bov. dont know why i imagined braking lol.
  14. number 3, if you have it in colour. the rest look like postcards. not something i'd hang on my wall.
  15. Hey Damo. I didnt receive anything. Can you chase it up mate? cheers.
  16. you're all a bunch of assheads!!! i was happy using Vortex all this time after switching from Ultimate. then yesterday i stopped in at a BP, coz i couldnt get this thread out of my head !!! i'm almost positive its all in my head, but the car feels better under initial and full load. here we go again !!! thanks fkrs
  17. and i think it says GTR on the fender !!!! hahahaha
  18. You know why theyre still for sale? coz you dont reply to PM's I sent you a PM ages ago about the lock bar. What car is it for?
  19. you could do that. but you'll have to be careful because the platinum tips can crack. so use a softish piece of wood to tap the tip against, gradually, till you get it there. or you could go buy some NGK copper plugs, already gapped to 0.8mm for under $20 for 6. they oftenwork beter anyway, but need to be changed around 10,000kms.
  20. lol ^ he's right. u need some kind of piggy back to bend the signal, so that you can run more boost without reaching the stock boost cut limits. also, you said the problem started after you changed your plugs. what gap are the new ones? if they are standard nissan, they will be 1.1mm. you need to use closer to 0.8mm. coz it might well be a spark issue. all power disappears for a second at around 4000 - 5000 rpm when the vct timing changes. thats a standard occurance on skylines with spark issues.
  21. I used Bp Ultimate exclusively, up until that fuel shortage. that's when i used vortex for the first time. the car felt fine. pulled hard. no difference at all. and because its slightly more convenient, and always cheaper, i just kept using it. its been months, and i havent had an issue with it. i guess it depends on the servo, in these cases. but from all the reading ive done (which isnt really that much ), ive found theres very little difference between the different brands of 98
  22. another one
  23. 10 psi should be fine make sure you use an aftermarket boost gauge. the stocker is not in psi, and is not very accurate, or quick to respond. an r34 smic wouldnt hurt either. but you'll be fine with what you have now.
  24. ouch. i know ive seen them around here for $60 or $70
  25. hahaha good work ok someone link me to a nice solid hicas lock bar
