its a piggyback ecu, not an actual chip
ive got one in my car. was in there when i bought it.
does timing and afr's. so its better than an safc. pretty sure it can handle bigger injectors too.
all in all, theyre not too bad, but very few tuners tune them (or like them). something about being licensed with unichip.
but i found a tuner in sydney that knows these very well from back in the day when they were actually popular.
i'm happy with the results. wouldnt bother swapping it out for anything less than a decent standalone.
in your case, seeing as its not installed, i would probably go for a more popular ecu, simply for the ease of finding a tuner, and having more options in that regard.
btw, r&r isnt an issue. stock turbo at its limit. and all is good.
