  1. I'm selling a driver's side mirror for R33 Gtst coupe, in white. It came off a series 2 but will fit series 1 also. Very good condition. $50 pickup Bexley, Sydney
  2. Once i sold a 4x4 to a guy in melbourne. It was running fine. He got it picked up by a transporter truck here in Sydney and taken down to him. A few weeks later i got a fine in the mail from victoria, so i called him to find out why he hadnt transferred rego into his name yet. He told me, he'd fix it up, and by the way.... the engine blew up. We both laughed, and life went on.
  3. Hey Andy, got the spacers today. They look good. cheers mate.
  4. ^ this. I've got Tein Superstreets. Aus spec. surprisingly comfortable for a coilover. prob not the best choice for track work. but excellent for road use IMO. especially when paired with some aftermarket swaybars 24mm/22mm for eg.
  5. All the best Christian. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  6. i'm guessing he means Z32 afm, not ecu.
  7. When leaving feedback for a member, you are now required to complete the - Deal Topic (A link to the topic where the deal took place) - field. It use to be optional before, which I think was better. Sometimes the url is not relevant. Also... when you click on an attached image in someone's post, it opens in the same window. I hate that!, Should open in a new window, as per before.
  8. how is this not sold yet??? super bump
  9. dude, i think you're confusing it with the add-on two stage solenoid kit. forget that kit. you dont need it. the V2 is a single stage boost controller. you set one boost level and leave it. as far as mbc's go, it's a very good one. way better than a bleed valve.
  10. http://www.turbotechperformance.com.au/epages/tutu2750.sf/en_AU/?ObjectPath=/Shops/tutu2750/Categories ... or ... http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/turbotech-psi/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686 the V2 is a single level manual boost controller. you are talking about the optional add-on that is also on his ebay page. i wouldnt bother with the 2 stage.
  11. Search for it on ebay, it's around $50. send him an email. he may do a discount. you never know. He sent this to me to trial before he was selling them.... ages ago. As much as I liked the original, I prefer the V2.
  12. I tried one of the new turbotech. it's called V2. It uses a different type of ball bearing. It's soft-ish (not really soft) externally, but still very hard. Not metal. He explained it all to me at the time. But basically it seals much better, and weighs less too, so responds quicker to the pressures applied. The internal machining/tolerances of the main body seem more precise too. I went from the original turbotech, which i had for quite some time, and was happy with, to using the new version about 1 year ago. It seems like it spools up even quicker. In my case, it overshoots by barely a couple of psi on WOT, but then settles quickly and holds steady. personally i like it this way. A bit of extra boost early on never hurts Although i suspect the overboost is caused by my 10 psi actuator, which i installed around the same time. it's pretty tight and caused overboost with the original turbotech too. Overall, i'm very happy with the V2. It hasnt given me any probs since i installed it. Basically set and forget. This is the one:
  13. yeah, well you have my review on corollas anyway. lol I drive my gf's 2000 Lancer MR quite a bit on weekends. That's definitely another car to consider as a daily. Just make sure you get a manual.
  14. one of these >>link<< seriously, they are a great day to day car. it doesnt matter where you park it. no one looks at it twice. theyre comfortable, very economical, they have enough power to get you out of trouble, even great for freeway driving. 5 speed manual is the way to go.
  15. 2000 Toyota Corolla Ascent - 1.8 Litre - 5 speed manual. There's a dent on the rear hatch, but it still closes perfectly. Aircon/Power steering. Sony head unit. Rego ran out a while ago, but since it was a spare car no one used, we didnt get it rego'd. Will supply a blue slip with the sale. Great little car. Drives well. No dramas. The car is in Bexley, Sydney. $4,000
  16. i had some crazy rattles coming from the drivers side door area. I had already adjusted and tightened everything i could find inside the door. I even pulled the rear interior trim off to check and secure anything behind there, and replace the bullet plug clip things. Then i realised the fixed bar on the body where the door latch catches when you shut the door had lost the rubber sleeve/coating. I wrapped it with electrical tape, and the fkn noise stopped!!! so check for this if you're still getting rattles.
  17. check the hicas ecu in the boot, under the parcel shelf below the driver's side speaker. i had the same problem. Swapped the ecu for a working one. problem solved.
