  5. metal cat, the brand? or just a metallic cat in general? a metallic cat has a metallic core inside, instead of ceramic. looks something like this
  6. ok. no prob. i thought since you were changing logo's etc, you were still playing with the design.
  7. kewl !!!!!!!!!! i reckon one of these designs for the back what do you guys think?
  8. sounds good will definately grab one or two, pending final design edit: Damien, get in touch with pkblade, he did the stickers using the same logo and url design. i'm sure he'll have high res images. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...rs-t138964.html
  9. i think its the way i wrote it. i gotta find an image though to be sure. thats the way i remember it on the club stickers. is promaflex a print? sounds like a print. lol those logos are low res. i just stole it from the top of the page. i dont have a high res version
  10. so is it zipped or not? i'm up for a zipped one in black and is it printed or embroided? if you get a good quality print done, it looks much better, and doesnt distort the fabric. much smoooooother i prefer this logo (as per Madaz's image) and maybe clean the back up a bit. like this and the url colours would be better as: www.skylinesaustralia.com
  11. just jap sell these. buy it through them on here, you'll get a good price. i had one of these. they are ceramic inside. good price, average performance. they dont compare to a proper stainless internal high flow.
  12. the Aston DB-whatever. it makes me sick how good looking it is. the Koenigsegg is pretty damn sexy too
  13. seatbelt warning light on the dash?
  14. what kind of temps would you expect to see at the airbox anyway? i cant imagine its over 100c, or even close really. my guess is about 60ish degrees max on the outside face. upload them in your post, like i did. easy. just make sure the file size is reasonable. nothing massive.
  15. after sorting through the flood of replies i thought i'd better post the result. turned out to be the boost controller. still have no idea why its playing up. works on the dyno. fails as soon as it back on the road. tuner is guessing its a wiring issue. but i cbf booking it in for troubleshooting, investigations, and surgery. so anyway, fitted my turbotech mbc back up. ooooh how i missed the boost.
  16. yep, its been fixed. mine is fine too. edit is fine aswell
  17. yes it sucks !!!!! all centred and weird edit: even my post is centred. edit edit: and why does the edit button not give you the dropdown option of 'full' or 'quick' anymore?
  18. no more off-roading for you so now thats its all been sorted, give us the brand name. and....is that as low as they'll go?
  19. lol see where being artsy fartsy gets you? NOWHERE !!! yeah same. i had some clear sheets lying around too.
  20. ok, thanks ben at this stage i'm thinking its easier to buy some black perspex will keep you updated
  21. thanks for the tip i was going to use some regular spray paint on it ('fiddly bits' quick drying). i already tried it out on some scrap pieces, and found it stuck quite well, and looks good. the matt seems to work better than the gloss too. but i didnt consider that it might affect its properties. it doesnt seem to have penetrated the perspex at all. why do you suggest painting both sides?
  22. i just made an airbox out of perspex the other day. i lined it inside with some silver faced heat resistant foam. but it didnt look very subtle under the clear perspex. so i thought i might paint it black on the inside. in the process of testing paint on a scrap piece, i decided to see how it deals with heat. i was surprised to find the perspex is pretty damn heat resistant. i placed a piece on my palm, and aimed a jet flame at it till it started to melt, but i didnt get any heat on my palm. i'm impressed !!! so there you have it. perspex. easy to work with. easy to shape. cheap, and pretty effective. obviously not painted yet. and i will probably only insulate the side, not top.
  23. yeah its convergance i had a similar issue with my samsung rear projection. had to change a slot-in pcb that controls all that crap. was about $300 to repair all up.
