  1. agreed its not as bad as it seems. it's just obvious in your case, because of the dash. and a bit of a pain really, coz its the wrong one. but all of us pretty much realise that our km's arent accurate. so its always recommended you do timing belt and full service on an import. just for peace of mind. occasionally you'll find someone who brags about their 60,000km s2 r33, and i just think, really? you believe that? if the car is in good condition, and it runs well, shows no symptons of issues, i'd say just keep it. maybe look into swapping the dash out for a manual dash with similar kms as is on your paperwork.
  2. lol PM Sent i knew it'd go at the new price
  3. 1000rpm at idle is too high for a 33gtst. it should be about 650-700rpm. you can easily adjust the warm idle via a screw at the vac idle valve thing at the rear of the plenum. this will probably fix your cold idle too. do a search. as for the missfire, it may be plugs. if that isnt it. it may be coil packs. do a search. plenty of info
  4. ok. i'm currently taking offers. nothing under $0.00 will be considered. will consider swaps for such things as a hand full of air. -after a quick sale -going overseas -work just gave me a new company Basketball Stand Hoop Backboard Thingy -got a baby on the way -need deposit for a house -need cash for hookers and booze

  7. bahahahaha the runz guy. that entertained me for minutes on end
  8. you may also have a leaking rocker cover gasket. usually passenger side. the oil gets onto the block, and when boosting around, the higher block temps burn the oil and you can smell it quite a bit. lol ...for what its worth

  12. 1680x1050 res bring it on !!!!
  13. city driving and short trips are the worst combo for economy. short trips means you're running on the cold (rich) maps. city driving means stop start traffic, and nowhere to gain momentum. but who gives a shit really. its a turbo skyline at the end of the day. enjoy it. ive stopped caring about how much fuel i go through.
  14. comparing economy is useless unless you take into account several things. city or highway miles? (obvious and very important) short or medium/long duration? (far more important than ppl think) how do you drive? are you the first off the lights? how often do you see boost/high rpm? what mods are done? the first few weeks i had my car, i was getting between 180 - 250 kms per tank. these days i get about 350kms to a tank, with more mods, more boost, more power. that includes NO highway miles.
  15. they made driver 3... called DRIV3R unfortunately, the game got worse as they went. 1 was the best by far imo.
  16. its not too thin, its purposeful !!!!! adam, my mate has a 335i coupe. its just a bit meh for the dollars. but then i hate beamers, so ignore me
  17. yeah try shannons. they dont seem to give you grief about mods. they just note them on your policy and send you an updated version. they're also guaranteed not to give you the shits
  18. i have to agree that 5w40 wouldnt be too light i've been using 7.5w30 and my oil pressure is fine (street use)
  19. dude !!!!!! this game rocks !!!
  20. dont even bother buying them. 1 - send him a message on ebay asking if you can inspect the wheels. 2 - turn up (with friends) and tell him they're yours, and you will have cops there shortly if needed 3 - take the wheels. 4 - if he gives you any grief, deal with him appropriately. although most of us will probably go to step 4 a bit earlier in the game but first MAKE SURE they are definately your wheels.
  21. ive never heard of one pressure for all sizes before. i run 40 on my 18's 18's are 38-40 17's are 36-38 16's are 34-36
  22. it will work where it is, because it's still getting a pressure reading. but a better option would be to fit a nipple onto your cooler piping, before or after the intercooler, and run the hose from there. here's what i mean as for the brass restrictor. i think that enables boost to come on more smoothly, with less chance of spiking.
  23. i would have expected the front bar to be trimmed and fitted if it was my car. but then this should have been discussed prior, when the price was set. i think most front bars need trimming after a fmic install. and so it would be natural to expect the entire job to be done, fitted, and ready to drive. of course, thats just me
