  1. theyre different. dont know if theyre interchangable though.
  2. yeah surprisingly, if it wasnt for the strange boost readings, i wouldnt have really noticed a problem. when i checked under the bonnet, motor running, there was quite a bit of pressure coming from the split. it was hissing and carrying on pretty loudly. but idle was fine.
  3. looks fkn great i love how the circle around the lambo badge isnt quite round etc. it looks like alot of talent and hours went into that
  4. oh look.....she passed with flying colours well done lol
  5. be nice Mr Eps welcome manda. maybe show us a pic of you so we can all feel more aquainted
  6. haha classic i had the same thing happen on the road. pulled over, and was extremely grateful to find a split vacuum hose (at the T running to factory/aftermarket boost gauges). i bet you're relieved
  7. hey cooooooooooool test, one, two VagiClean
  8. they would have trimmed it a tiny bit. unless maybe you dont have the aircon thermo fan anymore. i did mine, and trimmed the smallest amount off the bottom of the reo (s1). still looks stock. $200 install is really cheap. if i had that choice, i might have taken it but i'm glad i did it myself.
  9. i know a guy who does roadside assistance for nrma. he's a doofus. so yeah, no surprise there.
  10. ...when your gf wants you to park in the shopping centre carpark instead of driving around for 20 mins looking for 'suitable' parking on the street, and when she starts getting pushy, you look at her as if "you know, i can get another girlfriend" . also applies when she says "your car is too loud and violent"
  11. when oncoming traffic flash their lights at you..... you havent had alcohol for a week..... but you still do a u-turn and go another way happened to me the other day. sad sad sad state of affairs.
  12. yeah ive been warned about walbro pumps too. there was one story of 3 walbro failures in a row. bosch seem to have a good rep.
  13. so if we're talking about a bit over 200rwkw on an r33 (stock turbo), you think the stock fuel pump would be a concern? considering it is working fine, and doesnt seem to struggle on the dyno with afr's, or on the road, ie surging etc.
  14. for some reason my ass dont be so modest chris. you're a wealth of knowledge when it comes to skylines, and related issues. i know you've helped me out more than once
  15. $2 dollar hooker is the way to go i drive with my knees far apart. my left knee is almost resting on the side of the centre console. how can you drive with your legs together anyway? sounds uncomfortable
  16. ^ yep, broken curcuit will make it flash faster too. i recently had this happen after putting my front bar back on. i thought it was a blown globe, but actually it was making poor contact in the holder. cleaned it up, problem solved.
  17. i've got the same smell, and i know my passenger side cam cover gasket is weaping. makes sense that it would get worse at WOT. but i never had the smell until i did my 3 inch dump, and raised the boost to 12psi from 10psi. maybe the leak is just getting worse, or maybe the higher boost makes it leak more? one way to find out i guess. how much are these gaskets? where's the easiest place to get one?
  18. cara ^ your bitches are hot
  19. ive never had any negative comments about my car, from young or old. and my exhaust is on the loud side. in fact i had a few old guys compliment it. i guess my driving/car/attitude doesnt make them fear for their lives. on the other hand, i had a 32 pull into my street one night. i guess they were friends of neighbours. windows down, music blaring, abnoxiously loud exhaust, two good for nothing, trouble looking, well tanned fellas (dont wanna be racist here) get out, leave the car entirely unlocked with timer going and music still blaring. this is way out of place in my street. i felt like going over and telling them to fark off out of here. its not the car, its the way they use it.
  20. why do you need a z32 afm for anyway? surely the r33 afm will handle the airflow from a stock turbo. should be good for at least 300rwhp or soemthing.
  21. dude, you're a legend !!! you saved me from more hours of pointless searching under the dash. you can also put a hard piece of rubber on the flat base of the hinge, so when the hinge closes, it wedges nice and tight. test it by trying to lift the rear corner of the bonnet when its closed. i've got no movement now, and the annoying sound is gone. so far so good.
  22. so which ones work? have you tested them at fixed speed cameras?
