  1. I drove past a Skyline St this afternoon in Greenacre. And it's off JUNo parade lol
  2. i didnt know what a stagea was till i joined sau so like me, i'd imagine most people wont know what theyre looking at when they do encounter one. your average cop included
  3. If you got off the shelf plugs to suit r33, they may have given you the 1.1mm gap, as thats what nissan recommends. But thats only good for stock boost. Try gapping those plugs to 0.8mm. It costs you nothing, and you may find your problem right there.
  4. I already pointed out that i was mistaken, coz i was thinking of the HKS mushroom oiled foam pods when i read K&N. Geeeeeeeeeeeez you forgot to quote that one didnt you!?!? But i still wouldnt use an oiled filter. Personal preference really. I use an Apexi pod. I like it. No maintenance. No oil. Ive heard very good things about the 3A's too. I'm sure there are thousands using each type of pod, so they must all work relatively well.
  5. thats a cup holder !?!?!?!????? the square space just rear of the coin slots? no way is mine missing something? coz that's not gonna hold a cup securely. someone post a pic preeeez.
  6. oh shit, i was thinking of the hks pod my apologies
  7. i wouldnt stick a piece of oiled up foam in my intake. you can if you want
  8. here's my effort
  9. no offense to KISIN, but if you're gonna use a K&N pod, you may as well throw handfulls of dirt into your afm. the Apexi is the way to go according to tests, and the 3A is alot cheaper and still right up there. i'd be choosing between those two.
  10. lol nice job
  11. lol @ cordial that guy has had too much red cordial for sure. permanent brain damage
  12. if it's a series 1 r33, it could also be the ignitor at the rear of your coil pack cover. also you've said you changed the spark plugs, but what are they gapped to? should be no larger than 0.8mm for anything above stock boost.
  13. +1 for dremel. selectable speed so you can start slow if you're worried about burning. easy to handle. small discs for a neat job.
  14. he spells good too This is too proove....jelous...etc etc ... and my favourite ...youse lol
  15. i'll take C:
  16. i thought splitfires provide a 10% stronger spark. have i got it wrong?
  17. whats the reason for the sale? what boost were you running? have you had it since new?
  18. i got a bellmouth dump/front from just jap i think they are under 200 for the mild steel. xforce brand. works great.
  19. that will definately be leaking. i bet the idle is all over the place, and the car probably doesnt run too good on boost. replace the hose and wrap it in some heatshielding like that alfoil looking stuff in the background.
  20. man...you guys can bitch. i can feel the estrogen from here r33cruiser made a valid suggestion, and it seems like it would work fine......IF you wanted the nipple that far up the pipe. i dont, so will probably go for the weld, or tap and cement option. plus i'd be nervous about the nut coming loose, even if i knew it couldnt. lol. btw, as far as turbulence inside the piping....have u seen the standard nipple inside the pipe? im looking at a stock r34 lower cooler pipe right now. it prodrudes almost an inch inside.
  21. thats farken GOLD !!! :laughing-smiley-014:
  22. so so so dissapointed with that front end. the rest looks awesome though.
  23. also forgot to say "first to see will buy"
  24. updated the link with pics of the tube and fin cooler from just jap. http://tony.ikkon.com.au/fmic/ - (scroll down for tube and fin) looks ok to me. what do you think?
  25. where do you get this polyester resin? you reckon i cant remove the silicone and apply this stuff? i still get a miss up high in the cooler night temps. i'm guessing gapping to 0.7 might fix this, but i'd rather keep 0.8mm gap if possible.
