  11. autogauge are cheap and nasty. i wouldnt trust their readings. autometer are known to be high quality and precise.
  12. heres some other recommended jack points.
  13. lol yeah, it is obvious. so i was confused as to your point about scraping along parra rd.
  14. he said they're electrical, so the oil wont be piped into the cabin, just the signal from the sender.
  15. give me the oil pressure gauge, and i'll send dan around to install the rest for you
  16. man if you like it, go for it. at least its something different. it doesnt look too bad. i personally wouldnt do it, but thats not the point. air bags go up, air bags go down. thats how it works.
  17. you can change the sender, but you'll need a nissan or nissan compliant sender. otherwise the values it's sending wont be correct for the gauge. just like you cant hook up an aftermarket gauge to the standard sender and expect it to work correctly. i'm not too sure, but have read that the nissan sender costs quite a bit. defi gauge price range
  18. obviously not
  19. less than 1000kms old. 7.5w30 genuine nissan semi-synth. dipstick shows full. car has never used oil between changes.
  20. lol yeah...stretch that cable
  21. yeah its under the intake. to the left of your oil filter. its got a big black rubber boot over it.
  22. i cleaned the plug terminals with contact cleaner. they were clean anyway. the gauge is now showing kinda normal readings, just a tad low on cold start. it use to creep up to 5-6 on the stock gauge, now it goes just over 4. at about 3000rpm, warm, its just under 4. this is a bit lower than it used to be. idle is a touch under 2, as before. my question is, is there something that would actually cause low oil pressure (1 at idle - 2 when driving), and then recover from this? or is this almost certainly a gauge/sender fault? i plan on getting an aftermarket gauge, but sandwich plate etc, it's gonna take a while. i'm guessing you have to drop the oil in order to do this. no way around it?
  23. OIII DAN !!!! I HEARD YOU'RE OLD NOW !!!!! CAN YOU HEAR ME !?!?!?!?!?
