  1. huh? why would he tee into the bov line, when he has that line right there? it's ideal for running a boost gauge. just replace it with new hose, and T off it. and you may as well leave the stock gauge connected. no point it sitting there, doing nothing.
  2. either of those two methods will work fine. i replaced mine with new hose, coz the original hose is a bit old and tends to want to split at he ends.
  3. hahaha. it took a while. and you guys were more than patient with him. i tried to find the funny side of his retarded posts. but it wore thin, really fast.
  4. the skyline shifter looks like it comes up a lot higher than these ones. are you looking to fit this same type? with the raised outer eadge on the boot. coz i think that's what makes it look so good. but can it work?
  5. yeah the line off the turbo is a good one for the feed to the mbc. with the turbotech, pressure goes in to the straight end, and the nipple coming off the side goes to the actuator. there shouldnt be any difference in boost levels between two working bovs, but if your stock one was absolutley stuffed, maybe. it would have to have been basically totally open all the time and recircing pressure back into the system under boost. i guess it's possible.
  6. i'm not convinced it will look good on a 33. the 33 doesnt have a definite roof panel. it's blended down into the rear quarters. unlike the 350z for eg, that has a defined panel that doesnt look too weird if it's in contrast to the rest of the car.
  7. where is your turbotech getting it's pressure feed from? some people tee off the bov vaccum hose. not a smart way to do it. but if you have removed this feed to the turbotech somehow along the way, that would also cause unlimited boost.
  8. the sway bar arrived today. 22mm as described. thanks mate .
  9. you have PM... days ago
  10. yeah i'd say it was just unlucky that you got a faulty one. if you bought these off performance-wise, i have no doubt he will sort you out asap. ive been running yellow jackets for ages now, with no hint of trouble.
  11. No, sorry man. I cant say i've come across any that will fit. I've seen some guys modify flip keys for use with their original key though. Google it. A few forums have write ups on it.
  12. its ok to adjust them a bit longer than your standard. i did, and got them almost perfect. it was about 15mm i think. it looked like it needed about that much anyway. it will all get sorted when you get it aligned properly.
  13. just contact turbosmart, or a turbosmart dealer. i think it was only like $30 or something. eg. http://xtremeautoparts.com.au/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=640&idcategory=216
  14. if you want to use a stock bov for appearances, just use a blanking plate to block the hole where the bov mounts to the crosspipe. it will be blocked, but appear standard. as far as plumbing back your turbosmart. i did the same thing with my GFB bov. I order the piece from GFB, and it simply screws into place, replacing the trumpet, and lets you connect a hose for plumback. .
  15. yes. these are definitely good quality. not thin or nasty

  18. yes, you need a boss kit. it bolts onto your steering column, and then the aftermarket steering wheel bolts onto the boss kit. i'm fairly certain R32 will require a hicas compatible boss kit.
