  1. war cops by faith no more is even better !!!
  2. in my opinion, and from my experience......there is something wrong with xforce. too damn cheap, and the quality reflects that. its not uncommon for an xforce muffler/resonator/cat to introduce drone and turbulence to ur system. stay away from them.
  3. yep, thats something i found out recently. even if they dont step down the size (3 inch straight thru) they can still cause turbulence which is probably worse. so good quality is what u need. u shouldnt lose any power at all.
  4. a skyline with no turbo is like a fat kid with no cake. no one's happy.
  5. i've been driving the new ss thunder 6 litre 6speed ute. it has some serious torque. if you were to slap a supercharger on it, you'd be already ahead of the field. btw....no traction...at all....ever !!!
  6. as if tell ppl off for not being your research bitches. as if tell moanie and liz off like that too. if this were face to face. i reckon someone would be feeling quiet right now. (hint - it wouldnt be me)
  7. the car looks great...and performed nicely. so where do we get these 'free' slidingperformance.com stickers?
  8. i've never had an issue with it. it always holds boost perfectly. there was one stage where i had heaps of lag, but that turned out to be my cat. changed it, problem solved. i'm still happy with no hole. since there's no lag, and response is super quick, i'm happy to leave it alone. so how did u find hole vs no hole? did u do the r34 yet?
  9. yeah i know what u mean...but dont worry about it. whenever you buy a car, you buy it on it's merits, not what the seller tells you, otherwise ur screwed. so if your happy with the car, forget all that shit. try a turbotech manual boost controller as manwhore said. set ur boost and be happy.
  10. lol no its not mine. just a google hotlink. mine's much prettier than that
  11. the easiest way is to locate your actuator and see where the line from it is running. thats what will be governing your boost. this is what an actuator looks like. its the brass coloured thing with the green dot on it.
  12. it looks great imo i didnt think it would. but i saw a black 34 with a cf bonnet. looks classy/stylish. much better than the panda style (black on white). eg hawt
  13. dont quote me on this, but i think +7 on the stock boost gauge = ~14psi
  14. throwing it against a wall is optional heres the one i posted somewhere earlier in this thread
  15. i'm not familiar with the hoses in your engine bay, but this is how the boost controller works.
  16. who changes the tail lights on a skyline? who i asks ya? the whole thing looks tacky to me.
  17. have a look for the tutorial, as RANDY said, it's pretty helpful. keep in mind, after i resealed my lights, i still had to drill holes under them to fix the problem completely.
  18. actually, it can get in there thru the lenses. they may be cracked or not sealed well due to age. does the water gather at the bottom in the blinkers? thats what mine was doing, so i took my bumper off, and drilled a couple of tiny holes up into the base of the blinkers so the water can drain out. you cant see the holes unless you look under the light. problem fixed.
  19. hopefully both got bashed and/or laughed at.
  20. benl1981, it'll be interesting to see what the bench tests show between these 3 smic's. make sure to keep us updated.
  21. sorry to hear that man. what a shame. but why no more skylines? i bet u miss it soon enough
  22. apparently i wasnt aware of that option either.
  23. nissan motorsport i believe
  24. sorry, i should have said, i was reffering to 5mm slip ons. is 5mm enough to make them sit off the hub?
