  1. colon ?
  2. lazy bastard is right. make one yourself, custom fitted to your setup. i saw these on ebay yesterday, and my first question was, what are these made of? they dont look like they'd keep heat out. they look like they'd melt if anything.
  3. lol that guy practically drifted down the quarter thats some dangerous shit. looks like fun
  4. this is like the 10th time i've read about dodgy autometer gauges. i always thought they were good gauges. i guess not. why dont you just change the gauge? i'm using a splitfire gauge, it's very consistent. i doubt you have to spend big $$$ just to get a decent boost reading. even try a speco gauge. they're only about $40. most ppl seem happy with those.
  5. how about this? the hose coming from the bottom of the power steering fluid reservoir is always wet. i noticed this on alot of r33's. funny thing is the fluid level has never dropped. what's that about?
  6. is this standard australia wide?
  7. my cannon is 3inch in, 6 inch body, 4 inch out. but i reckon he may have got an incorrect reading, as i said, wasnt smooth rev building.
  8. i'm running the exact same setup as you, minus the box resonator and hotdog. where the hell did u get the box to fit? if i put it on, it would be hanging way too low, or touching the tailshaft. mine is all mandrel bend, so it kinda takes up alot of room with no harsh bends. i reckon maybe this guy got the reading wrong, coz the revs didnt increase gradually, i remember punching it a little between 3500 and 4800, coz i was using my left foot, and was only half in the car although it would still be over legal limit, i have no doubt.

    My S14

that was very schwingy. what do those things weigh? like a buck 5 or something.
  10. faaaarken hell. my exhaust is 102dB WTF??? i held 3500, then held 4800, then back down. the highest reading was 102db. and to make things worse, we couldnt fit the oval resonator on, coz there's not enough room under there. that would have only brought it down maybe 3dB anyway. but the only option is to put a hotdog resonator which will only reduce it by maybe 1 or 2 dB. dangnamit the way he measured it was 45degrees left of the tailpipe, about 1metre away. is it possible he was too close? i might go somewhere else and get a reading. edit: before my highflow cat, the exhaust didnt seem this loud. i assume the cat has increased flow dramatically, causing increased volume. i didnt expect it. is this pretty normal of a highflow cat? it's only an xforce 3 inch cat (replaced a standard compliance cat).
  11. are these leather? or vinyl/plastic?
  12. ok, so i'll have the dB meter going from start up, to 4800rpm, and back down. if it doesnt crack 90dB it should be fine.
  13. lol classic
  14. cool. will test it tomorrow thanks.
  15. thanks is that it? just at one rpm level?
  16. My exhaust is too loud for my liking. I'm getting a resonator put on tomorrow, to quieten it down, and i need to know what the legal dB limit is. And how do you measure it? eg, 90dB's at 3500rpms?
  17. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...rattling+window a quick guide i used to adjust mine. those window guides just have a furry pad on them. i reckon you could pull them out and replace the pad yourself with anything soft and suitable.
  18. but what if you dont want 15% or 35%? does he do others? I'd like 25% i reckon. not too dark, but dark enough.
  19. feeling nauseous ???
  20. you said wheels twice and umm.... shuddup edit: the fog lights came with the car, and i havent been bothered sorting out the mess of wires. but agreed, they'll be gone soon. skirts? meh, dont care for skirts much. unless there's a nice ass inside. lol. btw, your car is also crap...in a good way.
