  1. Congratulations. *cigars all round* Kids are where it's at. You cant beat them (well you can but it's illegal in most states) But you know there are still those that wish there was a pair of turbos in those blankets. lol.
  2. i've noticed a bit of lag on gear changes too, with the turbotech bc. mine doesnt have the hole. i reckon i might put a hole in it and see if it releases the pressure quicker. mad, does yours have a hole?

  4. relocating the pod sounds like a good idea, but i've read other's results and it seems to cause new problems. mainly the huge amount of air ramming thru the afm, plus turbulance, can cause the car to stutter and actually reduce your performance. i'm sure i read it on here somewhere, do a search and see how you go.

  6. lol, yeah, i'll get working on that so what is the inside diameter of the stock hose coming off the intercooler piping? i know i could just go take it off and look, but then again, you could just tell me.
  7. it's pretty stretchy, i could probably get it on my foot if i try long enough. lol but as long as it doesnt restrict the flow. from memory the diam of the stock hose looks to be more than 5mm. i might be wrong though.
  8. so is 5mm silicone vaccum hose big enough for inlet pressure supply to the bleed valve?
  9. which states are boost controllers legal in? i bet qld. you can do anything up there short of ramming police cars, and no one cares.
  10. just go drive one of each, and you'll quickly decide which you want. here's a tip, go to a dealership and drive an overpriced example of each. then you'll get an idea of what they should go and feel like.
  11. ^^^ that's what i've been told by a couple of tuners. apparently, any learning that may occur will basically happen each time you start the car, although it's minimal to none. The ecu just isnt that smart.
  12. i set mine, and left it. hasnt deviated or played up at all. pretty damn good for the price.

  15. wouldnt it be really obvious if it was rear wiper. i mean, if you press it, your rear wiper will start, and then we wouldnt be having this discussion so i'm guessing you guys have the rear wiper control on the left stalk with the regular wiper? like r33?

  17. that looks like a huge stanley knife ready to slice and dice pedestrians. looks great though, but dont know what the law will think of it.
  18. yeah damn it, wouldnt you know it, it was the gauge playing up. swapped gauges around and the bov line showed 9psi, while my factory nipple showed 8psi (with gauge B). so gauge B was giving a false reading. i shouldve tried this first, but i didnt imagine the gauge would all of a sudden give a false reading, after reading consistently for so long. anyways, let that be a lesson to me. good news, there's no leak thanks for the help
  19. bar x 14.503861 = psi so 1 bar would be 14.503861 psi if you're running a stock turbo, i'd be careful about running 14.5 psi. i'd be leaning more towards 12psi as a max, or even 10psi as a safer level. depends on your setup of course.
  20. yeah what cc said. depends on the setup you currently have. if you've got no mid muffler or resonator that might be why it's so loud.

  22. have you got the hole in yours? as far as i know, the hole should actually reduce lag on gear changes. i'm feeling the lag too, but mine has no hole. i might put one in it.
  23. why are some skyline mats in that rough checkered 'david jones' pattern, and others, like mine, are a uniform grey? mine certainly look genuine, with the eyelet and skyline patch on them.
