  1. right now, right this minute i'm listening to Lit Up by Buckcherry. it's so early 90's trash rock, but i like it. have a listen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOJNPdc9s2Y
  2. that's the shit
  3. great *mental note: do not shake goober's hand* edit: i type like a munky
  4. lol, are you sure? even a really thick curly pubic hair? i'm going to do the same thing, but since i'm using the stock cooler piping, i'm going to use the standard snorkel, maybe even custom make a wider one. is stainless the best material for this job regarding heat? is aluminium better?
  5. the 2 you're considering are a too blingy, not enough grrrrr !!!! but having said that, each to their own. since you're looking on tempe tyres, they have some of the best examples of what NOT to do to your car. eg. fuucken retards
  6. what fuel do you use? i've heard of people using shell for example and getting the black soot all over their bumper, but not with bp.
  7. yeah, mad082 explained it on the previous page. have a look at this pic. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=39884 undo the slave cylinders (2 bolts) and remove it. then pull the rubber boot off, and get a torch, you'll be able to see in where that fork runs. you'll see another rod inside running at 90 degrees thru the fork. at that point where they pivot is where i greased mine. i used thick grease. you'll probably need a hoist, or at least some decent clearance to get right under there.
  8. ^^^^ that looks good man. i like the smoothness of the shape. there's a guy on here selling 'banana' bars. do a search, i think they look pretty good. personally i dont like the hard straight lines, and sharp corners of gtr and similar bars. 400R = blah.
  9. in case anyone else has this prob. when i did a search i found alot saying it was the slave cylinder, needs to be chganged. my clutch developed a really loud, annoying squeak. i mean embarrassingly loud. so whenever i released the clutch, it would squea-ea-ea-ea-eakkk like an old lady's trolley. wasnt like the previous squeaky rattle noise, which turned out to be the fork rubbing on the plate. anyways, it was the fork again, but this time it was where it pivots on the rod inside. it was pretty dry and dusty at that pivot point, so i greased it up, and the noise is gone.
  10. thanks. i like it that vid was before i put the highflow cat on. no drone at all. perfect. but since i put the highflow, there's a bit of drone in the cabin. so i'm gonna put a resonator on, since there's none on my system besides the cannon. most systems have a muffler/resonator between the cat and cannon.
  11. here you go. listen to my exhaust here 3 inch turbo back. it's a bit louder since the highflow cat went on, but will fix that with a resonator soon enough. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=65540
  12. get a turbo back exhaust. you could always add the dump pipe and cat later (that's the stuff that's not included in a cat back system). 3 inch, with a decent cannon, and maybe a resonator half way, wont be tooo loud, but will sound grumpy and mean.
  13. just hit the 'turbo off' switch. it's under the dash, at the base of the steering column, in lala land
  14. lol coke. what's coke gonna do? i agree, dont lube them up, you dont want lubed belts. just tighten, or replace.
  15. see, now this is where you might get in trouble. distribution. you went toooo far
  16. i doubt a timing belt would screech, it's got teeth, it cant slip like that. it's probably one of the visible belts.
  17. shell wasnt being reckless. it's a different thing altogether. i've caught myself doing the 'regular' speed limit, and then realising i've entered a school zone, and slowed down accordingly. if there was a cop there, he'd have booked me. and as far as the bigger fines/points go, i was also under the impression that if you speed in a school zone, they bend you over and get the baton out no lube so it looks like thats a common misconception, if it is infact wrong.
  18. it's the crappiest game that ever crapped. i mean i've seen crappy games before, but this utter crap. handling physics = crap same boring gameplay = crap amount of resources it sucks to run on pc = crap i've never installed and uninstalled a game so quick before. so in summary. it's crap
  19. yeah, i'm pretty sure it came from just jap, so should be original. what are they worth? what's with the rubber ring on the oil cap? looks like it'll fall out when the cap is removed.
  20. lololol wuss i'll pm you her number. she's expecting your call now seriously, hks oil cap? any issues there?
  21. yeah, that's what i thought. just needed to be told. what about a hks oil cap? i guess these cant be hazardous, can they? and also, nismoid, can you call her and tell her they're crap gifts
  22. Someone bought me a D1 Spec radiator cap. It's 1.1kg/cm2. I'm pretty sure the stock cap is 0.9kg/cm I did a search and found that the 1.3kg/cm can cause blown hoses, or even core damage, due to excess pressure. Is this the same with the 1.1 ? I feel bad not using it as it was a gift, but i'd rather exchange it than blow my hoses off, if that's the case
  23. here you go, i found it. 104 Canterbury Rd ph: 9558 2121 Canterbury Auto Electrical
  24. i had his card on me, but cant find the damn thing. i'll get the address and number for you shortly
