  1. ^^^ so you agree then? the S1 trim owns the S2? you were proving me right, yeah? by posting that pic? uhuh? kthnx
  2. how much is the basic wash ? how hot is the chikki ? there's a hand-wash at a servo on forest rd at bexley, $12 for the basic exterior wash. they do a pretty good job too.
  3. pfffft, shire folk. mostly in-bred arent they ?
  4. i've seen that pic too. but i couldnt find it again. i found this pic though.
  5. S2 front is teh gay. and who said S2 trim is better? Pleeeeeeez. Looks like State Rail did the trim in anti graffiti fabric. Although S2 rear spoiler is nicer I am very bias by the way. S1 FTW !!!
  6. i've seen this before. the car is usually priced well below it's value, and they offer to pay shipping. why would they? then they ask for a deposit of thousands, and that's the last you'll hear from them. my friend was looking at a vw golf sport model super optioned immacualte etc etc. the car was in the UK. after a few emails and further questioning, the replies just stopped.
  7. i hate seeing shit like this
  8. hmmmm, i dont feel confident in recommending a brand, coz i only have experience with the splitfire. i'm happy with them. i always thought autometer were the shit. autogauge = cheap crap, but sounds like autometer. lol
  9. thanks for doing that. it sounds great. nice and deep. mine sounds similar, but since the highlow cat there's also a bit of drone in the cabin. other's in my car havent noticed it, but i'm a bit picky about stuff like that. here's a vid of mine. R.wmv
  10. dont just take the sides off. i've seen it before. looks craptacular. get the whole thing off and replace it with a wing you like.
  11. thanks dude. now i'll remove those huge pics from your thread. lol.
  12. i've got 2 splitfire boost gauges (not both hooked up at the same time. lol) and they seem to be pretty accurate, straight to the mark, and dont bounce around. having said that, i've always considered autometer to be a good quality gauge, and it may just be a case of this particular one being damaged.
  13. i didnt think you'd get such a good result from the stock r34 smic. well done. now i am considering doing the same instead of fmic. i wanna see what type of resonator you've got coz i have to add one to my exhaust. off-set means it's not straight thru. straight thru would be the torpedo or bullet shaped one.
  14. yeah it shouldnt move 5 psi when you tap it. lol. i know u can actually adjust them to sit at 0 when off. I've done it to one of mine, but ever since then i dont trust it, so i use another one that hasnt been opened.
  15. what does it show when you're idling? at about 700rpm mine shows about 20vac.
  16. i reckon it's stuffed, coz if it was holding it's reading, but just the wrong psi, you moight be able to adjust it, but seeing as it goes wherever it wants, not so sure. open it and have a go. you got nothing to lose
  17. is the resonator a 'torpedo' type, straight thru? or a big ass rectangle one?
  18. if the gauge is showing 3 psi when the motor is off, then the gauge is faulty. it should show 0.
  19. can you put me down for 2 x SAU logo + postage to Sydney? PM me details. thanks.
  20. yeah i got it to work. sounds smooth. hard to tell from that vid though. your exhaust sounds good. 3" turbo back right? any mufflers in the middle? like a resonator after the cat?
  21. my pedal is just right. the pedal on my cherokee was so firm that i used to literally get a sore leg.
  22. agreed i've got 265's on the rear, and i've been told they reduce economy, i find it hard to believe, but it's possible. i have to say driving style makes a huge difference. when i first got the car, was getting 250 to a tank, now i've eased up a bit, getting around 320. my most recent result is 13.3L/100kms. (1200kms on 160Litres)
  23. it's a 95 model right? series 1.5
