  1. how about just the "nismo" sticker in white for the bonnet. how much is that?
  2. so if nissan fast says GTS25T/M does that mean Type M?
  3. i'm going show pony 350hp. but if you said show pony with 200hp, i'd go the other way.
  4. i would like to see those results too. but it totally makes sense that as hot as a turbo gets, it will always heat up the air that passes through it.
  5. my economy is crappy too. ~15L/100kms. but then i just found a unichip connected to my ecu. didnt know it was there. maybe a tune may help. but the car runs farken great, and sometimes you mess with stuff and then regret it. sorry for cross-threading again. goober lookie here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=2595890
  6. wooohooo, cant lose. but if you're getting 500kms to a tank now, you're doing pretty well. so lets say you start seeing 480 or even 450 a tank, that's nothing to complain about. get the exhaust, it's a very worthwhile mod. from the turbo back is the way to go.
  7. i've been told 2 opposing stories on this. 1. any mod incl. exhaust (which is highly recommended for better flow) will cause the ecu to run things a bit richer/use more fuel. 2. the bigger exhaust will allow the motor to run less restricted, using less effort, better economy. this one i heard for the first time the other day from a tuner. i have my doubts.
  8. ehhhxcellent.....i can watch that all day.
  9. here's a theory about CAI. it's not my theory, but makes sense to me. i'm sure it was mad082 (prease confirm) that said this in a thread somewhere. intake air goes through the turbo where it proceeds to get hot, because the turbo is hot. so cool air or warm air will turn to hot air anyway. so isnt it better to have an unrestricted pod that can take in as much air as it needs, rather than reducing it's supply of air by boxing it, in the hope of reducing temps by a couple of degrees? mad082, correct me if i got it wrong.
  10. ....and, actual pic of my car. no chops.
  11. OMFG the mods are fine, everyone's fine, all calm down *group hug* the only sillyness i've seen is in the wasteland, and that's what it's for. i'm a long standing member, and weild quite a bit of power around here, and .....oh hold on, NO sorry, i was thinking of something else
  12. jokes? or for reals? here's a pic. the earth point has an arrow pointing to it, and the positive terminal is under the lid.
  13. oh well if we're doing chops, i gotta throw these in
  14. now that's an answer. sounds quite plausible to me. and that's exactly how it happened. parked it right after a 1hr drive in the stinking heat. started it the next morning in much cooler temps, inside a garage, in the shade.
  15. yes, when you're on boost in the stinkin summer heat. but how does this help coolant/engine temp? is it a combo of both that's causing grief in the heat?
  16. do you always have to saw a hole under the washer bottle? ie, is it the only way thru for the piping?
  17. have u seen the car in person yet? dont get too excited till you do. sometimes you expect it to be great from the pics, but then you turn up, and pffffft, no good. everyone's been through it, like myself, probably too many times.
  18. if you guys make this sticker, i want one. yes i know i'm in sydney, and i'm only a forum member, but i want one anyway !!!! k? k
  19. either that pic is photochopped, or you're mental. either way, nice work.
  20. looks good. i might go 'buy it now'. naaaa, joking but seriously, check it out.
  21. pants voting FTW !!!
  22. yeah i pulled mine apart and had a good look before using it. the cut end of the spring was ok in my case, but i can see how it might be a bit dodgy. i have adjusted it once and left it like that (fluked the correct setting first go). here's a tip. if you want to install it at the least(stock) boost, tighten the nut just enough so when you blow thru the bottom nipple with your mouth, you can just get the air to come out the side nipple with quite a bit of blowing effort.
  23. well if my coolant temps were up there, then that would explain alot. and here i was thinking it was just intake temps.
  24. cubes, dont be a smart ass, or i'll have to ban you.
