I found a unichip unit piggybacked to my factory ecu (R33). I had no idea it was there, and i assume the previous owner didnt know. I was looking at putting an safc in when i found it, so it's a bonus having the ability to alter timing, and possibly boost, as well as afr's. Where do i get this tuned in Sydney? What does a tune (probably fine tune) cost for these? Anyone using one? Any advise or tips? cheers

I went to see hitman today. very nice guy, helpful, and cluey. anyway, while poking around, checking consult readout etc, matt pulls the ecu out and finds a unichip unit hidden behind it. lol. i had no idea it was there. he told me to keep it rather than swap it for a safc, coz it can do a bit more, like timing and possible boost. so it looks like JeeTeeEss25Tee's safc is still for sale. if it wasnt for the unichip, i would've had it by now. i'm off to research unichip now. any advise for me?

i got a couple of PM's for R33 install pictures. someone already posted pics of this same thing somewhere earlier in the thread. anyway, here's a pic of mine.

last time i was in tassie (without my skyline) i drove from launceston to hobart, great road, great scenery, loved it. also drove from launceston to the west coast, via cradle mountain (great place to appreciate the enormity of nature). i think the tassie roads beat the shitty sydney roads hands down.

i'd be looking at the new intake. more likely to be that rather than the boost controller, since the boost controller isnt doing anything when your off boost. new intake as in what? new pod? new intake pipe? new plenum? has your afm been messed around with?

sorry Fugi, not sure about r32 setup. i set mine to 9psi today, and seemed to hold steady, although daytime traffic etc, and only really tested it in 2nd. so far so good. i used the standard hoses, and just replaced the T piece with the turbotech, blocked the line that was going to the top of the solenoid, and remove bottom line. can post pics if anyone needs them (R33).
