Iv had a fun day today got the rest of my bodykit all fitted up and fitted the new Splitfire coils.

Well good new for me the Splitfires fixed my prob no more pops and splutters the car feels better than ever Rev's from 0-7000 on 12-14 psi boost with out a prob im very happy with the result. wish i had done it sooner

I checked all poping on the weekend and replaced every hose clamp with new ones and checked every silicon hose for cracks. also put new cable ties on every boost and vacuum line. i also tries all the below as well with no luck New Plugs at .8mm New Fuel filter Cleaned AFM Cleand Coils (the spring inside) with AFM cleaner checked for hair line cracks (found nothing) Taped Coils (waste of time) Spraid with heat rated silicone (waste of time) Re-set ECU so yea i have tried all other cheap options so yea i hope these do fix the prob. My cars in the shop getting the rest of my body kit fitted so i cant fit the coils for another few hours haha im amping at the bit to put them in.

My Splitfire coils arrived today from NENGUN took them 4 days to get here and only cost me NZ$550 so im pretty happy. i will be installing today so will let you all know if it fixes the prob fingers crossed

i have a SAFC-II that has been dyno tuned as my engine management even if the splitfires dont change anything its still a good mod to have done to provent future probs from coils but as i said will let yo uknow how they go when i get them.

ok guys have tried everything and all DIY bandaid fixs but had no luck so i have just made the payment for some new SPLITFIRES from Nengun they say i should expext then in from 7-21 days so ill let you all know how they go. hey all my car Car farts and pops after 10psi boost what i have done so far got new spark plugs and gapped to .8mm checked coils for cracks and condition. checked for boost leaks etc. any other idea guys please help

yea mine took 1.5 hours but it can also depend on your car and the tuner

stab in the dark but it could be your spark plug gaps for 10psi plus boost they should be gapped at 0.7 - 0.8mm gap

yea all counts dude i really was interested in how much power people have with a SAFC as the engine management. keep em coming guys

As title says Where to get my turbo Hi Flowed in New Zealand or Australia a well known respected place that could do it pretty quick if i was getting it done in Australia a would need to send it there then get it sent back

Thanks guys i have just cleaned and re-gapped my plugs to .8mm and checked for cracks and burn marks on the coils and all seems to be ok the prob has now gone with the re-gapped and cleaned plugs so prob is fixed short term. so looks like ill get some new plugs and look into some spitfires for the long run Thanks for ya help

Yea my plugs where always at .8mm but as said they could be buggered. any opinions on new plugs i am using at the moment NGK iridiums at .8mm gap whats a better choice for my car
