hi the noise only starts when the motor is warm .... it isnt there at idle comes in at about 2000 rpm ... I dropped all the belts and its still there.... I took the heat shield of the turbo and the noise changed ... I dont know too much about these things only what I learn on these forums .....I am 60 year old girl that likes import cars I am near Taree nsw...

Hi all I have a s1 stagea 1997 with a rb25det engine It has developed a wine from about 2000 rpm up it sounds like the turbo..... its a high pitched wine and gets worse as the rpm rises but when it is backed off it reduces in loudness buy when you rev it the wine follows the rpm still drive-able but the wine is very loud any ideas ? or does anyone want to buy a stagea s1 about 265,000 km fair condition 2 months rego $3000 firm regards Robyn

OK THE SET UP is basicly two systems in one the original boost controler is maintained the earth lead to this controller was cut and a diode placed in line to stop backfeed to the ECU A 2nd earth wire to a switch again with a diode inline to stop backfeed.. I then cut the main line to the wastegate inserted a T joint and ran a line to a electric shut of valve and then to a boost control bleed... so how it works ..nothing turned on standard boost 5/7 psi turn on the earthig switch to standard controler constant 7 psi boost ..Standard control switch off and the secondary controler on adds the standard boost 5/7 plus secondary boost added = 5+5 =10 and 7 +5=12 also with both switches on 7 psi original plus 5 psi secondary constant 12psi see its simple

Hi everyone. thank you for the advice I have built the set up I discribed the result is setting 1 standard boost settings 5/7 psi 2nd setting 8/10psi 3rd setting constant 12.5 psi ok I can use the right foot to control the boost but this was a bit of a challenge for me, to do something I was told by a guy that couldn't be done... hahahaha not only that but it looks nice with the little lights working...

Hi, the idea is two fold 1) less boost for wet roads, reason being my partner is not a experenced driver yet and 2) fuel consumption around town...

Hi Guys, Just a question from a dumb blond... Ok what I am trying to do is rase the standard boost on a R33 GTS25T to a standard pressure of 9 psi but also retaing the standard boost controll that has a 2 psi jump to 11 psi.... What I am thinking of doing is to tap the actuator line and fit a boost bleed to give base boost of 9psi and still leave the standard controller in the set up that gives a 2 psi step up over 4.500 rpm... anyone tryed this? if not do you think it will work ok. you guys been playing with these cars longer than me..Cheers Robyn

Pj Thanks for the advice... I do understand what you are saying and I would do exactly as you say except I am 52 years old and have had too many bustups on the track over the years and I don't bend to fit under the dash like you young fellas....

Hi everyone. I have recently purchased a R33 GT25ST 1995 skyline and I need to obtain a wiring diagram to install an alarm.... I was sold a Vision system from Auto Barn but the local store has a very bad name for giving out rego number and the alarm type fitted.. so I wnat to do the install myself... I can find the wiring for the GTR but not mine.. can anyone help me
