Alternator or Power Steering pump bearing. I have the same issue on my missus CRX. We had both replaced and it now looks like the issue is the crank shaft bearing. So we will have to pay for a full timing belt change basically :-(

I can get about 450 or so if I drive sedately with no AC. Mine is totally standard though. I have had closer to 500 on a freeway drive though. I was quite surpised at how efficient it is compared to my old GTR.

All, I am looking at getting an exhaust on my GTT and am wanting recommendations on either exhaust shops in the Sydney area (I am in Kogarah) or pre-fabricated full exhaust systems. I am not interested in just cat-back. I am specifically after a decent tone to the exhaust that is not too loud on the freeway or at low revs. Just a nice grunt when gunning it etc and a nice hum on idle (yes I know in a perfect world...) Any advice on good shops that dont charge stupidly (like Lambros charging $600 for a stainless muffler!) or full kits that bolt on would be great. I am after a 3 inch from turbo back.

Yeah I used to live in Maquarie Park and got broken into 3 times, including twice when my car was in the garage! Bad place for car crime.

Or get larger rims :-) That way it just looks like your doing a faster speed when infact your slower than the speedlimit ;-)

Cant agree more. Stick with a known brand. The Ebay ones are terrible. I have had nothing but problems with them. JVC make decent ones that are very cheap now days. I picked up a DVD headunit (without screen) for $350

I got one a few months ago myself. Private sale. Manual, 80000ks, turbo coupe totally standard other than rims. Paid $18500. I think it was a good price for the quality of the car. I saw a lot of crappier ones for a lot more too.

Hot but not doing as well as one would expect...

$40 + postage PM me for postage quote, but pickups are welcome too. The crack goes along the base up about 1/2cm in the centre of the light. It is a hairline crack and in the rain the light didnt fog much. Globes included!

Same goes for TA22 Celicas too. They go for like $15000 or more in Japan but are closer to 2 or 3000 in Australia. Damn I wish I never sold my grandma's one.
