    Thicker oil makes mine harder to start. You might find there is something else draining the battery too, like your alarm etc.

    The factory rear windows on the R34 (if they are tinted) have darkend glass. Thus its not changed or removed at compliance.

    I got pineapples fitted with springs, shocks, front castor arms, new bump stops and rear camber arms for $1700 at East Coast Suspension if thats any indication.

    Thanks guys, yeah all above makes sense. I would have gone for a eletric rattle gun but I am after an "all in one" solution to my future tool purchases. Also very handy for filling tyres etc.

    Mines between 85 - 90 after long driving (over 20 minutes). Though its increased to this over the past few months. Any idea why this would happen? I never saw over 80 then all of a sudden it went way higher and is aways high like that now. On the track it gets up to 100ish.

    Mine get up to 100 and a bit over on the track. Mostly around 85 - 90 on normal driving, but strangely this is only happening in the last few months. Previously I would only get up to 80 on the street, but now (no matter what oil I run) the temp goes way higher. Whats the highest it should run?

    What about Air Compressors to run air tools? Any recommendations?

    Can anyone recommend a decent air compressor for medium duty mechanical work? I need something with torque decent enough to undo "never removed before" suspension bolts with a rattle gun.

    Also, whats the annodised purple sender unit at the back of the engine bay do? looks like a fuel rail of some sort? Never seen them mounted like that though.

    Here we have a full set of R34 GT rims with Bridgestone T's-02 rubber (205/55/R16 all round). The tyres are at about 90% tread as shown in the pics (thats a 10c coin btw). Very very little damage for factory rims. Just a few small scrapes here and there but overall one of the best sets I have seen. $250 ONO want em gone quick! These normally sell for this price with poor rubber so pick up a bargain! PM or call 0416275449

    Even my B16A Honda Delsol needs 98! On 95 your performance really suffers. Amazing how such a small difference in Octane rating makes such a massive difference to performance huh.

    I believe the octane rating is too low. The octane is like 92-95 which is quite low for turbos. E85 is a better choice!

    BMW factory horns are really good too. Quite small profile and obviously legal as they come from the factory. Much chunkier noise too. Thanks for the reminder I have to head to a wrecker!

    First I have heard of a 20de engine in a R34. I thought all the NA engines were still 2.5?

    FYI I paid $600 for an original front bumper so if the quality is the same, this is a great buy.
