First time in one was in 1994. BRAND NEW R32! A rich friends dad let him drive it to this party. I sat in the back and was driven around with 3 other guys (crazy as the driver didnt have a licence!). I have been in love ever since.

All, Just thought I would let you know that I have purchased my first GTR just now. The R32 GTR has been the only car I have really longed for in the past 9 years and my dream has finally come true. Heres hoping for no spun bearings, bent rods, blown turbos or any other nasty surprises in the years ahead! I will post some picks when I get it and clean it up a bit. A question, what should I do to it as soon as I pick it up? Ie. should I get the belts all changed? I will do an oil flush and coolant flush for sure. Vidospace.

Remember you will spend ages (on public trains about 2 hours) getting from the airport to Tokyo. If it is a stop over keep this in mind. And it will cost an arm and a leg getting from the airport too. There is a bus service that is quite good though. Just make sure you know when to get off!

What year model is it? Number of Ks? Yeah and Location would help too

I checked 3 R32 GTRs yesterday that had yet to be complianced, in a dealer. All of them had engraved plates and identical plastic stopers that held them in place. Can anyone confirm if the "printed" blue plates are only for the R33s? There was definately no respraying done on any of them (paint quite ruff, rust spots etc). I am seeing another one (private seller) today and will check it out too and post my findings. How about other R32 GTR owners? How does your plate look?

You can get generic "alarm in use" stickers from Dick Smith.
