  1. I dont get why anyone would spend that much time and effort on their car and then change it. Like DRDOOF says, what else would you get? And really, how can close to 350kw be boring? Maybe your not doing it right :-) What about spending the money on other bits that can improve performance such as a 2 way diff upgrade etc?
  2. Umm... I would say every 6 months rather than 12.
  3. Ah the wonders of DIY. If it makes you feel any better, we have all been there. Its part of the "fun" in modding your own car.
  4. That sucks, but day was worse... http://www.carsguide.com.au/site/blogs-and.../worst_day_ever
  5. In otherwords, the rear 25GT badge doesnt have a hole!
  6. some pics and rail info would be nice.
  7. Supporting mods being injectors, high flow intake and exhuast, and a tunable computer...
  8. There are no real disadvantages other than dodgy ones braking and destorying heads, but the performance improvments are minimal without other supporting mods. Lets just say they help the tuning process extract a few extra KW.
  9. I love the rotors. Well worth the money. Just running stock pads at the moment and it pulls up much better after a bit of work. No fade and better feel.
  10. I got a mint stock silver 98 GTT for $18500 and that was 2 1/2 years ago. Looks like they are holding their value well!
  11. The Power FC can be tuned on the road with the hand controller but the results wont be as good (or safe) as a dyno tune. Same really applies to any after market ECUs. If you want something cheaper though consider the Emanage by Greddy which is a decent piggy back ECU.
  12. Agreed. Think of it like a tyre. You never know when your going to get a flat, so keep your spare inflated.
  13. Interested in the Oil cooler. Check PM
  14. uber nice! Shame your in Vic :-(
  15. Tyres and brakes are the most important things to consider on the track. Engine insurance is important but if you cant stop, or turn, your engine wont matter much as you plow into a barrier at 60...
  16. Very nice rims. Shame I am in Sydney
  17. I am after exactly the same thing. Sounds positive though!
  18. definately right center adaptor. It screws in tight and on removal it looks like the seal has been compressed which looks good. I think the main issue is around the extra sensor screws on the side of the plate itself. Where can I get a really good plate with quality seals and bolts?
  19. OK so I have a sandwitch plate installed for some after market guauges. I did it myself and am having evil oil leaks from the nuts that block the additional mounting locations for sensors (4 all up). I am totally over it as I am loosing a litre of oil every few weeks at the moment. Can anyone suggest a better way to mount the sensors? I am considering a remote filter mount but most of them dont work with guauges. The guauge sensors are not the same thread as on my car either so I can just screw in the replacements unfortunately. Alternatively can anyone suggest where I can get a decent sandwitch plate that doesnt leak? Also what do you guys think is the best washer for the sump plug, Tin or that fibre stuff (the red ones). Bryce
  20. Open to offers, just want to see them go to a good home!
