thanks for the suggstions all. Yeah I need to carry big stuff every now and then. Like dead bodies!
Just try fitting 4 passengers - and - a body! that R34 boot is just too small
I am forever cutting off feet or hands trying to get them to the grave. Its doing my head in!
Apparently some people have had luck getting roof racks for R34s but others not so much. Can anyone direct me in regards to what specific racks to look for?
I am only interested in the full roof racks (cross bars) suitable to carry heavy loads rather than just skis etc.
Apparently Thule make some for 4 door R34s but has anyone actually installed racks on a 2 door? Can you use ones suited to another car perhaps?
It should be very very simlar if not the same. The only difference might be the wireing clips at the rear of the gauges. Otherwise the screws and other clips etc should be the same.
yes its fine. The only time it would cause an issue is on the track where they will warm up differently. Even then its not a massive problem as front and rears warm up differently anyway!
As long as the location where the pipe enters the muffler is the same, and the mounting locations for the hooks is the same its easy for an exhaust shop to put new piping on an existing muffler. Its the mounting hooks that are the real issue here.
Camber kits can help traction (more surface area on the road on take off for example).
Also you can get new subframe "pineapple" bushes. And decent shocks and springs obviously help.
But most of all
good sticky tyres!
Swaybars are standard R34 bars. Nothing fancy. Willing to sell as a overall package only sorry! Got to get rid of this stuff as I am moving house soon.
