  1. Sorry to hear the bad news Scott, like everyone here I wish you all the best with your situation & with your engine build too!
  2. I can second that on small cars, I used to be a sales manager for nissan & then mitsubishi a few years back & the margin on micras & colts were about $700 max if that. This is 4 years ago so things can change since then. ...But really? Camrys coming in negative on invoice? I'm not doubting you just sounds insane to me, do the dealers mark up 'delivery' charges or are there factory incentives you can claim back? don't answer if you don't want to, I'm just curious...
  3. I'm happy to bring along the V for one of the surrounding cars if you want something different on show, eastern creek is literally 10mins up the road for me
  4. do you have the 'sport' model big brake akebono calipers or the standard calipers? I have the big brake kit & gave my local supercheap the part numbers ACT1346(Front) ACT1347(rear) & they were able to source a supplier in melbourne for akebono brake pads, don't remember exactly what it cost me but it was expensive, could probably save a bit of coin if I shipped them in from the US but needed them before that weekend eg: http://www.jcwhitney.com/2008-2011-infiniti-g37/pro-act-ultra-premium-ceramic-brake-pads/p2021327d18205y2008-2011j1.jcwx
  5. Just being respectable will not get you off the hook 100% of the time, it's roll of the dice. It certainly doesn't help the situation if someone is acting like a prick towards the cops though I was a passenger in a mates Supra once, stock on the outside beside an exhaust & wheels, got pulled over in an RBT. Police asked him open his bonnet, my friend was co-operative & polite the entire time but still got ordered to an inspection station for exhaust & pod filter
  6. Said Oh son of rajab Jesus It's a front mount! & the copper gave me a canary... AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FO DAT!
  7. Wish I could've gone too but was stuck at work all day grrrr
  8. agree with all said so far, I'll add the following: in my experience with my old cars, not acting like a douchebag on the road & being polite to the officer when I was pulled over for a "random license check" got me off the hook for things like BOV, Pod filter (heat shielded but not fully enclosed etc) current car is legal so all good, even got a thumbs up from HWP once when they pulled up next to me at a red light
  9. hehe just reached level 32, I went overseas 3 days after the game released & I was gone for a month so I'm only just getting into it. I keep getting slaughtered in war games, need to practice more lol
  10. Is your car a sedan by any chance? think I may have spotted your car around mt druitt before
  11. hey man, I bought my rubber lip from ebay a while ago, couldn't tell you the exact vendor but there's heaps on there held on just using double sided tape and still going strong after 6 months through the winter, rain & highway driving if it starts to fall off, which I don't see happening anytime soon I can always reapply double sided tape
  12. As soon as I saw the thread title I knew it was that sticker saw it on the mighty car mods youtube vid
  13. probably for peace of mind as it's for long term storage? a 4 post would be a lot more stable This would be a perfect solution for me but unfortunately my garage roof is nowhere near high enough just make sure the car on top won't be leaking oil renting the generator would be the cheapest option but not very convenient to have to rent a generator if you need to take out the car at short notice, let alone in an emergency eg. house fire etc
  14. Spotted a new model skyline
  15. my autopick had 2 games division 6 (4 main numbers) so all up I got about $40ish bux so almost doubled my money
  16. I'd buy something like that for the missus if there was a ladies version... Ah screw it I'm just gonna get a red sharpie & draw them on
  17. ^ give me the change from your r31 buying orgy & I'll park them for you
  18. rookie mistake, you've done all those power mods but no brake upgrade?! no wonder so many falcodores wrap themselves around poles
  19. was it 98 octane but? None of the 7/11 in my area have 98 only 95 which they call premium I use their 95 in my xtrail & I'll get avg 500k's to a tank city driving not much better milage from bp or shell 95 maybe an extra 20-30k's if that
  20. I hope he cleans it often LOL
  21. ^ evos need to stretch their legs a bit before they start picking up speed so not really surprised I mostly get thumbs ups in the V can't remember the last time anyone tried to g me up, just ignore 'em not worth it
  22. I'd recognise that rear bar & two-tone paint combo anyday, that's my old R33! Good to see it's still getting around It's a series 1 but I put the S2 wing on it & that bodykit ahh the memories... got my first blowie in that car too
  23. how often would you need to do that but, I'd imagine it would only be a temporary fix? as opposed to taking it all out at once & painting so it's fixed for good. you could replicate the look of the stock paint with a flat grey
  24. park a few of them on the neighbours lawn, there ya go neighbour... no more space taken up on the road
  25. our bumper is factory 'sport' bumper for the higher spec models S/SP etc. The ones with 2 long vents are the lower spec models
