  1. Hey never knew that existed, I've got some rating to do lol Can hardly see why in my case as I was parked and where the other person was could only see a side view
  2. yeah just use metal cylinder spacers, don't need to bend plates and will sit flush with your reverse lights
  3. nar, close enough was maroon lol but she was blonde must just be sad people out there who can't think of anything else to take photos of besides imports and themselves in their bathroom mirror
  4. other guys have put grease over the writing, painted the caliper and rubbed the grease off after the paint dried. I did the same, just with blue-tak lol
  5. What I don't get is that nobody in that ad is actually doing any perceivable speeding, a guy doing a burnout, a kid cutting off a pedestrian, and another kid who looks like he barely has pubes doing a pissweak powerslide. But then it says speeding no-one thinks big of you? In general people appreciate my r34, only once did I see an old lady at an intersection and I was passing by going the speed limit and she spat in my direction and mouthed off some words... I smiled, gave the finger and carried on
  6. I loved saying that to my parents when I would get big boxes of car parts delivered to me
  7. Majority of everyday driving you very rarely go past vacuum unless you're taking off fast or gunning it. My Gt-t will get about 410-420km out of a tank and that's with my car on 12psi
  8. Yeh same, was parked waiting to pick up a friend at their work and across the road in a camry was a girl taking a picture of my car from her camera phone
  9. Hey mate Got my Rotors, Thanks again! I've already got a set of lucas pads lined up but if they turn out rubbish I'll make an order for some redstuff pads, Cheers again
  10. lost my license when I had my R33 and the 6 months just watching it sit in the garage was torture. I have a company car now and it just makes you appreciate every time you get behind the wheel
  11. On Great Western Today saw a silver R33 gtsT with a GTR badge on the back and shopping list on the side, sticker on the back saying 2die4 Hi If you're on here, can't say I'm a fan of your car but a nice front bar though I was driving my company car, Red vrx lancer
  12. Depending on what type it is, majority of coilovers come with varying levels of damping adjustment and let you adjust the damping setting with a dial on the top of the struts In saying that too a coilover will almost always seem harsher to ride on than a traditional shock and spring, on the upside your car will seem like it's riding on rails if setup is properly done You might already know all of this already, but I don't know your personal technical knowledge cheers, PJ
  13. Grey/charcoal R32 with "R32" plates along erskine park road today, Hi if you're on here I was in the charcoal 350Z you were behind then boosted past
  14. Eww filthy northerners polluting our pure section of the forum again, must be Origin! The pope visiting will be bad enough
  15. lol I think I've seen that Ford on the road that links Doonside to Blacktown can't remember the name, But I remember passing it with a disgusted look on my face
  16. well yeah I realise that, majority of people would pay on credit or EFTPOS though, my point is why it's seems so difficult to make it an even amount at the pump, it'll instantly jump that extra cent just pisses me off because I have a company fuel card so I'm getting ripped off that 0.01c when I fill up... but like I said it's neither here nor there because I'm lucky in that they supply me a fuel card like F*k I could afford to fill up two gas guzzling cars on my own
  17. Hmmm, Dunno if there's anything to it... but I notice at a few servos when you want to make the payment an even amount say $20/$30/$40etc the pump will got to X0.01c no matter how lightly you touch the pump nozzle, I even purposely stopped at 29.99 and only SLIGHTLY touched the nozzle, went straight to $30.01 conspiracy theory or another way we're gettin stooged? Either way don't faze me, perks of a company fuel card
  18. Well, I got pics of when I did mine, but I'm guessing you want r33 specific pics?
  19. America's Current version of the maxima looks a lot better than that, shame. The new one looks like it ripped the tail lights off the new mazda 6 must be a new styling cue, like clear indicators on new cars now
  20. The factory plastic paint on r34's is shocking, so I repainted mine and came out looking better than new, all it took was a few cans of paint and primer, a top coat and some prep work before painting, took all but a lazy weekend to do (let parts dry overnight)
  21. that roof spoiler is as ugly as a red headed stepchild I saw a v35 in an autosalon magazine that had the roof fins from the evo and that actualy didn't look too bad
  22. does the car have aftermarket suspension? Lowered? My r34 came with factory option bilsteins and It handles and rides like a dream. Regarding the headlight, if you mean the dome bubble thing that distributes the light from the parker, as far as I know you'd either need a whole new headlight or open your existing one up then glue the cover back on, there's a tutorial somewhere on the forum that shows you how to open it up because a lot of guys on here get a chalky build up on the inside of their headlights good luck, welcome to the forums
  23. I've owned both I've got an 06 built so it's got 220 odd kw (new ones have about 230kw and better torque/rev range) First thing you notice is the body rigidity when powering along corners, the traction is awesome almost like a big heavy go kart hehe. Mid range acceleration is definitely better than a gtst due to larger engine, put it in 3rd and plant your foot and there's v8 like torque on tap Unless your gtst is more seriously modified (say 250kw+) you won't be disappointed with the stock performance of a Z. Try to have a drive of one and see yourself. although I do admit I only have the Z until I can get my hands on a v36 skyline 3.7VQ 333hp from factory, can't wait!
  24. Ahaha I got a full set of stock r34 Gt-t coilpacks for sale if anyone is interested... Only replaced because I swapped them out for splitfires, working fine
  25. Hi, I'm interested in this group buy depending how the first few go and the feedback from them, as I have about 60-70% tread left on my tyres atm and I'll be up for a new set in about a month mechanic recommended to swap the front tyres with the rear but as the fitments are staggered obviously can't be done I took the sizes off my tyres; F= 245/40 R18 R= 275/35 R18 these tyres came with the rims I bought what's the availability of these sizes atm? as much tread left on them as possible of course
