  1. lol always happens. I'll be cruising along, some fully sik individual tailgates me, eventually moves on and I end up in front of them further down the road. Classic I was thinking about investing in a scrolling l.e.d panel that I could fit on the rear windscreen. ...........HA.................HA....................... should do it OR ....GET.....OFF.....MY.....ASS........
  2. Hey mate, got the pic. Much appreciated Thanks again, PJ
  3. Don't listen to 'em! Love the 400r frontbar. Again black out the mesh to suit the rest of the car. I agree though that with just the frontbar and stock kit don't go together, either replace with a more subtle front bar OR I'd add 400r sideskirts and N1 rear pods to complete the look. I'd also look at replacing the rear spoiler with one of those Stealth wings that have an LED light incorporated into it. *sigh* I miss my old 33
  4. I bought the leather nismo one, pretty sure it's 10mm. fits perfect
  5. Yes, some guys replace the bulbs for leds. I went the whole hog of getting them replaced with smoked face guages
  6. last 4 seem to be all the sedan versions I can't wait for the v36 coupe to be available for import, getting one straight away
  7. It was all by chance for me lol, my dad was buying a murano and I came along to keep him company, had a quick conversation with the manager and he invited me to an interview. I entered the industry as a trainee which means you get stuck with all the bumb jobs and usually a probationary period (average 3 months) I guess you could ring around and enquire about traineeships at dealerships near your area if you're not experienced in sales. (I had previous sales experience working for telstra, so it helped a lot). There were lots of times when I thought about quitting but I stuck to my guns and now it's paid off for me. It helps if you are motivated about the product you're selling, I couldn't work for Kia lol. Downsides are long work hours/weekends, but as I said before I was already used to that when I worked in retail. Some customers act like @rseholes, but you get used to it and just becomes like water off a duck's back. There are also lots of perks to the job, so you take the good with the bad i guess If it's something you're passionate about doing and your personal situation allows you to try out a new career for a few months then go for it. I'm turning 21 this year and I can afford to pay off (and maintain ) 2 cars and I'm saving up to buy a house by the middle of next year, nothing special but something to get me started. More than I can say for most friends/people I know at my age
  8. It's probably the stock turbo if you're still running it. will hold 12 psi for a bit then tail end off to 9-10 psi through the rev range
  9. there's re runs of the show on SBS, just check your tv guide. Never too late to get into top gear. Good entertainment back on topic... I work for Nissan in new vehicle sales, It's in a large multi-franchise dealership so it's not like working at some dingy car yard. Lots of perks such as brand new company cars, company supplied fuel card (life saver at the moment), lots of bonuses from nissan like gift cards and vouchers for doing what I'm paid to do already. Turns out I'm pretty good at what I do so I'm making a killing and I've been where i am for almost 2 years now, I see lots of guys not even last a month. Downsides is long work hours, have to work most weekends (just means I can't stay out as late as I used to), some people can be pushy or just d#ckheads, same story when I was working in retail so meh. evens itself out in the end i guess.

    Gtr Revenge Battle

LOL I been watching too much Best Motoring... as the GTR overtook the lambo at the end I went "Yatta!" The driver said the exact same thing seconds later as he crossed the finish line
  11. who honestly cares? The GTR is a great car, and i'm sure the lexus will be too. I'm more wrapped that the next gen performance cars from Japan will get the European competition running scared
  12. Spotted a maroon R33 Plates "OHR-33T" on the great western. Big sticker on the rear quarters, I was in my company car. I hope you're on here, just wanted to say thanks for tailgating me, @sshole. caught up to you at the lights anyway, without needing to speed .

    R35's Too Common

They source 80% of their product lineup from Korea? They stubbornly pour all their eggs into the one commodore basket? They wave the patriotic flag as an excuse to produce mediocre cars? I don't think he was commenting on Nissans in HK, he was more replying to owgasm's post by making a comparison between nissan in Japan being like what holden is in australia... everywhere
  14. R33 motors usually have writing on the coilpack cover, a lot of parts are interchangeable engine wise between r33/34s so maybe a turbo conversion? End of the day, if FAST says it's a 25gt, then it's as you said most probably an n/a with a conversion/engine swap. Check the brakes if they are the small n/a spec ones
  15. fark me dead, my r34 gets sideways on normal driving... Time to buy new tyres I guess If you're not a hoon then nothing to worry about except roadside RBTs that ask you to pop the bonnet I had most things bolt on bits in my engine bay painted black and haven't had a drama since (fingers crossed)
  16. All subjective I guess, I reckon all WRX's sound like @ss with looks to match, although I do like the MY99 and the '05 shape doesn't seem too bad to me. GT-t will really let you down performance wise coming from a gt-r, especially if you've modified it, but I like them, most aggressive lines of all GT(s)T's, easy to handle in the sense that they are tail happy but it's easily controllable which makes it more fun to drive in my opinion. I hate 4 doors anyway
  17. Could be a whole multitude of things rather than just one problem... Any Nissan Dealership with a service department should have a CONSULT which just plugs in to the ecu port underneath your coin slot It will check for any error codes recorded by the factory ecu. Sounds like it could be one of your coilpacks is dead/dieing which might explain why the problem is intermittent, I haven't checked for awhile... but I think the TCS,SLIP, and ENGINE lights come on when your call stalls or is close to stalling(I was teaching the g/f to drive manual and I *think* I saw those lights on the dash come one when she stalled, was a while ago), which again could be related to a shagged coilpack If it turns out to be that I'd recommend buying a set of splitfire coilpacks off one of the traders here in the For Sale section of the forums, Splitfires are just like nissan ones but much cheaper to buy compared to genuine Good idea to check the condition of your Air Flow Meter, other than that I'm out of ideas... Goodluck mate!
  18. has to go aswell for fmic installation, quite a nifty gimmick at first but like all things it's novelty wears off, I had one on my old r33
  19. Hello Kitty air freshener? Love to see pics of your car man When I finally get time off work i'm planning on replacing all the hoses and connectors in my engine bay, restoring or replacing the dash/interior trims and getting a full detail, + anything else to rejuvenate the condition of my r34.
  20. fark me there's some sad people who are willing to make an effort to talk cr@p, and all for what? 2nd link was just sad, I like the deathstar post though lol
  21. Fools, don't they realise Mardi Gras is a chance to get them all in a big group so we can identify them later? Personally, I'd like to know if a pat on the back from a mate/work colleague is more than just a "pat on the back" Typical Victorians starting sh*t. I don't blame 'em though, there's nothing to do in their state so they must get bored to tears... damn "southerners" they're only a Bass strait away from being Tasmanians
  22. yeah gold is good, or if you can find something close the brembo orange/gold on r34GTRs/350z's etc. I did mine in duplicolor red, only because they were out of gold
  23. I prefer Vpower, but you can't seem to get any lately, not in my area at least Even BP ultimate pumps in my area are almost always out of service , I'm reduced to using Vortex98
  24. dump pipe leading from the manifold uses the same bolts I think, I have a split dump pipe on my r34 that was originally for an r33, the shop I bought it off was adamant that it would fit and it did. engine pipe leading from the dump pipe to the cat is shorter in an r34 to an r33.
