  7. FI, it's a fun little thing to putt around on around town. I'm not aware of any aftermarket cams for the 2014 model, I will look into this I'll probably end up on the wrong side of a concrete barrier hahaha I've heard of owners with old school Sr400's converting to 600cc by changing the piston & boring out the cylinder? More research required. Either that or look into a Kawasaki W800 when I'm on my fulls Also... Bought one of these on ebay today $250 delivered with aussie warranty. Just for blackbox recording in case shit goes down. No external mic input so no vlogging for moi
  8. Cheers!^ Just a quick update, fitted the front & rear fenders to check for fitment & making sure nothing rattles. Other than that I added a little leather toolbag so I can hold my disc lock & helmet lock without needing a bag or big pockets with me. Still waiting on my windscreen, spare fuel tank & side covers than I can get all my parts painted. Can't wait! I'll be on my L's for 3 months this coming febuary so I'll book my MOST test for then, I want to get off my L's asap!
  9. Too many right turns #'murica
  10. mate I've already got enough headaches with my '76 Zed, at least this has the appearance of an old bike with none of the mechanical gremlins sooooo... A few more things came in the mail today Headlight Grill Sticker for the lulz (I'll never be an astronaut unfortunately so this is the next best thing hahaha)
  11. both are in the works once I'm on my P's they check your bike for the MOST test and I don't know how anal the instructor will be on the day
  12. okay so new fuel tank & side covers ordered for my custom paint scheme, just waiting for them to arrive & I'll get everything powder-coated at once. Also bought a yamaha windscreen to try it out. If I don't like it I can always put it up on ebay
  13. Trial fitting my tail lights & license plate lights. Putting my year 10 electronics class knowledge to good use Success! How it should look installed. I'm still gonna get the fenders painted matte black but at least it's all ready to bolt in once that's done.
  14. I woke up at the crack of dawn on saturday so good excuse for a ride around the mountains. was freezing my nuts off though Hawkesbury lookout 3 sisters
  15. My lids. Haven't been pulled up on the tinted visor yet, I'll put the clear one back on eventually but it just looks so cool like a space helmet with the iridium visor hahaha
  16. take photos of everything & file a report to the police. You never know. What a kunt, I can hear bogans doing burnouts & skids in the backstreets down near my house sometimes, absolute f**kwits

  19. I've done this personally Lost 20 kilos so I'm no longer a fat shit. Better power/weight ratio, fuel economy & health lol But also taking out all the crap/junk that's in your car all adds up too for whatever little weight benefit it provides. At least you'll have a clean car for sexing the ladies
  20. yeah hehe oh well, I was never expecting it to be a quick bike I knew what I was getting into with this thing. Guess I know now why owners lighten the bike as much as possible. Still a tonne of fun on the road I miss it already, can't wait to get back home!
  21. Chris was the first one i tried, he might be busy this end of the year or maybe already on holidays so I'll wait until I'm back from overseas regardless. I think it made 21 hp peak but the print-out is at home. I don't think the tuner will be able to squeeze out anymore after the mapping, mainly just fix up the A/F ratios a bit better along the rev range. I'm waiting till I'm back home & get some more of my cosmetic mods done before posting up a vid to youtube.
  22. you've been missing out on the +10hp for too long! Have fun today everyone! Would have come along but flying overseas today so I might see you guys from the plane
  23. Took a trip to jaycar to pick up some wires & bullet connectors I'll be needing to install my tail-light & license plate lights. None of the shops I contacted to powdercoat my fenders have even bothered to reply so they must be on holidays by now I'll wait until the new year. half tempted just to break out some sandpaper & buying some matte black rattle-cans DIY Found out a factory yamaha replacement tank is $600, some places selling aftermarket aluminium tanks want $700-$900 & that's just the tank without welding custom fitting tabs etc. + it would be a direct fit, not messing about I'd prefer not to molest the current tank so if I ever want to sell the bike I can easily put it back to standard & sell the aftermarket goodies individually.
  24. white R35 stopped by HWP on the M4 city-bound near Eastern Creek this morning
  25. well f**k me, switching the wire colours worked on the indicators, so instead of black to black/green to green swapped the colours around. In hindsight it was so simple but I'm so used to matching the wiring colours. She's coming along quite nicely now, the blacked out chopped fenders will complete the look. Only thing left after that is a custom fuel tank & I'm looking into different handle bars to lower the bars a bit. Don't think I'll go with clip-ons as that wouldn't be as comfy for the long highway drives I do to get to work but wouldn't mind a slightly lower position
