Bodykit will make it alrite without lowering, while all these "low riders" baby their cars over speed humps and driveways, you can enjoy driving your car S2 front lip 400R sideskirts and rear bar is what I'd do, then it'd be complete lookswise. Oh, and paint your brake calipers, makes a BIG difference. Not hard, more a pain in the ass but worth it! I was gonna go Brembo gold but the shop only had anodised red so yeah...

Yes I always wait for all the noises to stop Probably, I'll probably try replacing the battery first Possibly, but I only put a cleaner in about 10,000km's ago Only had a new Nismo pump put in for about 7 months might be plugs too, next thing I'll try Dunno, how do you check the condition of the solenoid properly? Always use Motul 3000V or whatever they call it 10w40 It might blow up on itself one day hehe! Thanks for that mate, will try that aswell Guys thanks for all the input!

Finally Got Rid Of Shopping Trolley Wing
Yo-Yo replied to Yo-Yo's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Alrite, I was able to talk the panelbeaters into a discount. Should be complete very soon... weird feeling now that I've mostly done everything I wanted to. Should only be a matter of time before my attention turns to the Z *here we go again* -
Hi! Thanks for replying Power FC hand controller says 12.1 volts on accessories My Skyline is a manual GT-t, driven every second day (used to be my daily driver but I have a company car now) You mentioned a dead plate in the battery? would that cause the symptoms my car has? It only happens once in a while, but just noticing it starting to happen more frequently then before, so wanted to nip the problem in the butt now Thanks again andy, PJ

nismo side skirts and matching rear bar (like mine) will look sweet. Impul kit flares out a bit more so I don't think it will flow with the stock frontbar Just paint your brake calipers like I did lol! I was gonna do them in brembo gold but the supercheat auto only had the anodised red left at the time.

I just shat my pants, very nice (best Borat impersonation) Looks awesome mate, but definitely needs to be lowered just a little bit to make it look complete... either that or some sideskits and rear bar *BEWARE OF GUTTERS* man do they make the stock rotors look tiny...

Finally Got Rid Of Shopping Trolley Wing

That would've been HEAPS betta ! I like how Nissan thought... Yeah just drill into the damn thing, it's gonna be covered up anyway with a massive ginormous wing, oh and make sure you drill 7 holes into each side... This sucker's gonna be heavy! -
Mate, had a whole heap of them on another computer, but lost somewhere and can't seem to find. But even though the changes were subtle they made a big impact when looking at the before and after shots... car looked wider, lower and more aggressive. Even though the body kit pieces were separate styles it all flowed together

Hi guys, As the topic suggests, every now and then when I go to start up my R34GT-T it struggles to start, You can hear the cranking, like the engine is trying to fire up but it just can't. Usually if I give it 4-5 seconds I try again and it will start up again normally. Also, when this happens sometimes the lights on the dash will flicker and I can hear the fuel pump whirring as if it's trying to start up, also a clicking noise coming from the engine bay. Once the car starts running it runs perfectly fine. First happened 2 months ago and only ever happened once in a blue moon, but it seems to be happening more frequently as of late. I have no idea where to start troubleshooting, so If anybody has any suggestions I don't think it's the battery or coilpacks (I have splitfires), could be spark plugs? Starter motor on it's way out? Any help is greatly appreciated, Cheers! PJ

like I said I can get a rush job done and have it look like sh*t down the track, That quote is from a professional nrma endorsed panel beater, they fixed my sisters car when she got in a prang and it came out looking better than before. The job would involve removing trims, panels and rubber seals so there is no overspray That $150-$200 would be for welding all 14 holes? If so I'm driving to queensland ! -
Parts For Sale

Bumpo, mate ready to buy that guage if you get desperate, just confirm it's the A/F smoked guage without the warning light -
Guitar Hero is to an actual guitar player, What Dance Dance Revolution is to an actual dancer Still, fun game to play. My g/f's brother has it on xbox... I was sh%t at it, so I whipped out my own guitar and started playing along pic of the beast... It's literally called a "beast" lol

Easiest place to find them is your local nissan dealer with a parts department, They can find the part you're after if you give them your Japanese VIN # on your car usually next day delivery to them if the parts are in stock in melbourne (I'm in sydney) expect to pay much more than they're worth though

lol calm down guys, was nothing special, just different because I kept the two tone. It was only a humble n/a r33 but it was my very first car and I loved it to bits! Nothin beats the feeling of your first car Spewing though... I had much betta pics before, can't find them anywhere I changed the standard s1 frontbar for a Type m bar, added 400R sideskirts and a custom rear lip I had before and after photos of the R33 that really highlighted the difference with and without a kit. And before you rag on me about that R34 wing I'll have you know it's already been REMOVED If you haven't noticed by now, I love silver cars

bought off a forum member for $350 Not repaired yet, cheapest quote I've gotten so far from a panel-beater is for $1400. That's to weld up some metal plates to the inside of the boot, then puttying up the holes properly and blending the paintwork from the roof so no-one can tell there was ever that abomination of a wing. I can probably get a simple bog and spray job done for $600, but in the long run it always ends up looking shit down the track and have to be re-done anyway Just want a proper job done first time, between work and TAFE just no free time to get it done ! -
I haqd a grey/silver two tone, kept the two tone effect when I added the bodykit. I'll post up some pics later

Honestly, I like them equally, but for different reasons My R34, being modified, has that distinct 'tuner' feel to it that makes it so addictive to drive, it's rough around the edges but is an absolute machine to drive (as you'd probably know ) The Z has a very refined finish being a newer car, it's fast, but makes it's power in a different way, almost V8 like... even when you're gunning it it doesn't feel as "fast" because the motor is effortless and has a great chassis. Actually draws less attention, people tend to snob me when I drive in the Z where I'll find people will wave or beep when I drive in the skyline. I know I'll have to get rid of one or the other at some point when I bite the bullet and buy a house. Maybe sell both and buy a v36 skyline when they're available to import? updated looks and performance of the Z with a backseat for a future family someday? -

Thanks for all your comments guys much appreciated I bought mine from Autojoy in Parramatta, but exact same you can buy from Just Jap yeap, genuine plastic and proper grills on the bottom half, exxy to replace I'd imagine :laughing-smiley-014: Funnily enough, even though I'm paying off 2 cars money isn't an issue as I still live at home. It's just finding the spare time off work to get it done I drive a company car to work and back so not really an issue to get it done straight away Thanks everyone! -
lol it's not even mounted in the proper position, should be lower these guys just aren't trying anymore

Hey guys, My R34 came from Japan with the optional Altia aero wing (aka MASSIVE SHOPPING TROLLEY WING). It was the only thing I didn't like about the car, didn't realise what a pain in the ass it would be to have removed at the time... Anyway, just thought I'd share some before and after photos. I was originally going to go wingless which is nice, but seemed too "sedan-like" and plain to me. I love how it looks now, but just wanted to see what others think All that's left to do now is fix up the 7 bolt holes left in the rear quarters by the old wing Cheers! PJ Shopping trolley wing in all it's glory... Without a spoiler... New wing!

Spotted an old white DATSUN skyline 240GT on the great western today looked like it just rolled off a showroom floor too doubt the bloke is on here but a very nice clean ride, love to have one in my garage!

Very neat and simple design to accent the clean look of your car, Hope you picked a decent offset, it will look schmick with a bit of dish I had shadow chrome on my old silver r33 so hyper black was a good choice You've got good taste mate, the only thing I'd add to your car would be Ganador side mirrors and it would look complete. The only reason I haven't changed to ganadors myself is that I actually need to fold my mirrors in to squeeze my r34 in the garage, and it makes it much easier with a switch
