  1. Yup remove the boot trims and you should see 4 screws that hold the tail lights in simply remove the nuts and pull from the outside, then it's a case of turning the plug on the bulb you wanna replace. Take care when putting the tail light back on though, when I installed my LED taillights I simply put the tail light housing back and tightened the nuts until they stopped turning, but the taillights didn't sight properly the way the used too. They were too far in making the bootlid stick out. What I had to do was hold the taillight housing where I wanted it then tighten the nuts. Could've just been my car but you'll see what I mean if it's the same as mine
  2. for small hairline scratches I use some alco wipes my mum gets from the hospital she works at, works like a dream! I just rub until the scratch disappears then wipe the whole area clean with a chamois. It hasn't affected my paint job yet and I'll continue to use them until I see any blemishes from using them probably won't work on larger scratches though
  3. My car came from Japan with a SSQV that is clearly plumbed back but still gives off the whoosh sound and it runs beautifully, never had a problem maybe I'm just lucky?
  4. How do they get the indicator functionality? do you have to run some wires yourself to get both indicators on the mirrors and guards to work?
  5. If this isn't sold by the end of January I'll snap it up, does it come with wiring looms/harness? been looking to do a conversion for some time now
  6. Few shops around sell em, seen at the motoquipe and autobarn in Mt druitt just to name a few not my cup of tea, but I'd prolly go decepticon If I had to pick Also spotted my old R33 again! Gave the driver a wave but don't think she's on the forums
  7. I'd assume there would be different mounts for the muffler, Also the R33 engine pipe running to the cat is slightly longer to the R34 item. I had to find the cat converter dump and engine pipes separately from the turbo back exhaust. But an exhaust shop would be able to make a custom set turbo back system for you aswell, slightly cheaper but have to make sure workshop making one for you knows what they're doing (I've seen some dodgey custom set ups on a few of my mate's cars) I bought a cat-back HKS hi power silent system 3" X-force hi flow cat (may change it soon though) 3" JIC magic engine pipe open bell mouth split dump pipe
  8. I'd buy the NA tune stickers for my Z if it didn't have a guy with a constipated expression on it lol
  9. *Knocks on Wood...*, I've had 2 skylines and only pulled over 3 times (twice my fault being a d*ckhead and once at an RBT) usual bolt on mods but I had my intercooler piping and pod shielding painted black for a reason. But generally I find not driving around like an @sshole will draw the least amount of attention, my car came with a HKS SSQV already fitted and cops leave me alone when I'm driving. I even give them a polite nod when I'm feeling game Get off my Green P's in Feb... can't wait!
  10. Carbon fibre door pillar garnishes I'm a ricer at heart
  11. In GTR form I prefer the looks of the R33 over the other two
  12. Some people have too much time on their hands... That reminds me, I've got an old Atari 2600 lying around somewhere...
  13. I'd like to know a place in NSW that can do this for me! Once I decide I wan t to do something it gets done sooner or later... and this is something I really wanna get done properly
  14. I've got that aswell, so you reckon metalcat is the way to go... cheers
  15. Is that a common occurance with the Greddy Profec B specII? would getting another type of controller fix the problem or can it simply be fixed at the tuners? Thanks again for all the replies guys!
  16. damn, if only these were NSW plates
  17. Just finished the game the other day, not too bad at all. I won a free car voucher thingy you get after you choose a prize for dominating and got the Zonda with it
  18. guys, I'm officially on holidays for the next week or so, so please forgive me if I don't reply as often. I'll try to check as much as possible while I'm away
  19. Cheers mate, much appreciated Boost gauge, Boost controller and SMIC are now sold cheers Alex
  20. Find a clean R34 with some mods already done to it, that's what I'd do
  21. If you're only chasing 180kw then the boost controller and full exhaust would be all you'd need. General concensus is the stock R34 SMIC hits it's peak around the 200kw+, then again a cooler intake charge is always a good thing which is what the FMIC will give you Good idea to get a SAFC NEO to optimise your mods, I'd personally get a replacement ecu like power fc as the tuning bug inevitably bites again after awhile. 1. full exhaust 2. fmic if you want 3. boost controller 4. SAFC or ECU
  22. hehe imagine the reviewer's stance if same car just happened to have a holden badge. There would be a frikkin' parade and holiday named in it's honour... Holden could never ever hope to build a technical masterpiece such as the GTR so that would never happen anyway
  23. I'm gonna check with UAS in seven hills, they have one on their website for $400ish, probably same as carmate in build
  24. + 1. Always wanted to tag along on a cruise and get to know some people on the forums, this is if I can get the weekend off work
  25. I take 12 hours and 30 minutes... can never be too careful oh and every 1/2 hour I replace the air filter element, I keep my boot jam packed with the suckers
