Hey guys, I've just had a Hybrid GT-spec FMIC installed on my r34 gt-t & now my washer bottle doesn't fit Has anybody with a GT-T have the same dilemma when installing a hybrid cooler? Any tips? Are there aftermarket bottles I can buy? If worse comes to worse I'll just get a custom alloy one made up, but I'm interested to know if anybody out there knows of a cheaper, easier alternative Thanks in advance guys

The workshop that fitted my guages had to custom make some wiring for the oil temp guage, so I'm assuming that included a sandwhich plate. I'm going there tomorrow to get some things fitted so I'll try to remember to ask him

Finally get around to fitting all the crap I've collected over the past few months just waiting on getting a new fuel pump, the silicon hose from bassjunky's G/B. Then get it all done in one hit I've had a FMIC, apexi power fc, Greddy spec II boost controller & splitfire coils taking up space in my room for aaages.

Will the GT-T badge be available as a boot badge? I'd only be after the rear badge

Hehe, yeah it was a bit pricey. But the end result speaks for itself, plus I'm not the most confident of people when it comes to D.I.Y As this is a car I'll be pretty much planning on keeping for years to come I'm taking the approach of doing it right the first time to save any hassles down the track

I had the nismo cat-back aswell, the one that sways nissan sports muffler on the tip & has the sport & silent switch in the cabin. Pretty sure the piping is 2.5" from memory, It's still in my garage so I'll have a look later There will be more of a restriction from the dump & engine pipe through to the cat more than the cat back section. I now have a full 3" system on mine & it's not that much louder than the nismo one on idle, just a deeper note. Absolutely growls when accelerating. I have a 3" split dump pipe bolted to a 3" JIC magic engine pipe, an X-force hi-flow cat & the HKS hi-power silent cat back. I noticed a slight pick-up in mid range grunt, but it's the top end where I really noticed the change, it didn't feel as 'choked' as before.

Fark I can't wait to get off my greens.

meh, each to their own. I actually don't mind the r32 golf badge, but knowing volkswagon it would probably cost +$500 for a chunk of metal. They freakin charge $1000 for metallic paint! teh GTR badge will be more than enough to offset the loss in power, if you fitted a GTi badge it would be a different story...

Both will be money pits, the Gt-t will be slightly less in the long run as far as modifications go. Most skylines come over from Japan with some bolt-on goodies, depending on what exactly has been fitted could also save you some time & money. The R34 I bought already had a HKS pod Filter, HKS B.O.V (plumb-back), short shifter kit, turbo timer, some decent rays eng. mags, aero bodykit with nismo rear bar & a sunroof which was a bonus. I was able to negotiate it down to a lower price than other equivalent R34's with less or no mods at all, so it pays to haggle & shop around. I'm gonna spend mine on getting a major service, & what's left will go towards getting some decent tyres. I bought some new rims with Nankangs on them gets scary at high speeds.
