  2. Thanks So VMX80 is good for the GB but what should i use for the diff? Also i just read that Gearbox oil is infact 2.8L not 3.8L...which is correct?
  3. I agree but nissan recommend VMX80 so i cant see how it can do any harm? plus there are lots of people on here using it, so its not like i'll be throwing in any odd oil...I just want the cheapest option out of the oils which are recommended for my car (which is stock BTW)
  4. Thanks Yea i also heard Redline is the best but also most expensive therefore i would rather the "cheapest best" option hehe

Hi I have a Manual R33 GTS-T I have changed all oils/filters etc in engine & now want to do the GB & Diff Was thinking Motul Gear 300 for the GB & Gear FF for diff but due to being a bit short on cash I am now thinking... Castrol VMX80 for GB & what Castrol product is suitable for my Diff?? Also just to confirm GB hold 3.8L & Diff 1.3L right?? Cheers
  6. Ok got myself a pair of Bendix Advanced pads & discs machined & now brakes perfectly with no squealing & alot better pedal feel. (car still had original nissan stamped pads in it hehe) Thanks for your help guys...

Hey guys & gals I will hopefully be getting my hands on an r32 wastegate actuator in the near future so obviously i want to put it in...Problem is cashflow so the car is stock as a rock atm so no exhaust nothing...If i were to get my hands on a GTT SMIC & throw that in would it be safe to put in the r32 actuator & run a constant 10psi or will i be causing damage & will NEED a FMIC & Full exhaust before i can safely run 10psi Thanks Noel

  10. ok i have a stock S2 R33 GTS-T How much am i looking at to get my 2 front discs machined a set of say 'Ultimate' pads thrown on all done by a mech?...$250ish? Also i have a few places in mind but any suggestions of a good/cheap place in western sydney? Cheers Noel

  18. cheers guys yea i am loving it...i have had a few cars/bikes including a 308 VK & this is definatley the best all round package...might do one or mods but atm i am going for the stealth/relaibility factor as i am sick of having problems with cars & attention from the police & also theives

  22. makes sense... what about just getting 3" turbo back/split-dump & cat vs just getting 3" cat back exhaust? I know both is the ideal but if i were to get one or the other which would be more beneficial? Thanks guys..i am just interested on peoples opinions/feedback on these ideas? Cheers Noel
  23. yea thanks I got myself a 450CCA battery (MF55B24R) from Supercharge Batteries http://www.supercharge.com.au/ in Arndell Park & problem is now solved ;-) yea but is it neccessary to do it (exhaust) if i up the boost to 10psi & get get a better IC? or is it just better to do it? if its gonna cause damage to my car cause i have a std exhaust i wont boost it all all but if its gonna be fine and just wont go as well as it could, i'll do it & leave exhaust (for now) especially since i love it being quiet as a mouse atm with the std exhaust. Thanks
  24. 3 Things... As the topic says what size is the std exhaust on a R33 GTS-T? Also if i upgrade IC & add boost (10psi) i know it is beneficial but is it NECCESSARY to increase exhaust size??? Lastly what do you guys think of just getting a 3" from turbo back with a split dump pipe & high flow cat but leaving cat back exhaust as std? I dont want people blasting me saying im stupid etc especially since i have not done any of the above but i would like to hear your informative opinions & reasons why & why not. Thanks
