  1. yup i understand that but is it possible to just put a standard size steel wheel in there, ie no machining etc?
  2. This might be a silly question but is it possible to just replace the standard ceramic turbo wheel with a steel turbo wheel so that boost can be raised safely above 12psi? Do you offer a price for that? Would it still require a different oil line?
  3. Great thanks, will give that a shot tonight!
  4. Hi All, I purchased an R34 GT-T off a member on this forum. It has ohlins coilovers fitted to it which I am told are height and dampener adjustable. I find the rear suspension too stiff for the street and would like to tweak both front and rear to find the best balance for me. The first photo is of the strut tops where it looks the dampener can be adjusted, although there are no numbers. I can twist the gold part but didnt want to do so until someone could confirm that was correct. I cant work out how to get to the rear coilovers?? Looking in from the boot, it looks as though metal is covering any access to it?? Any help much appreciated.
  5. Also interested to see the answer to this...
  6. Sounds very interesting, what is the price on this for an R34 OP6 turbo?
  7. mine occassionally crunches 5th but its only when i try and change pretty quickly to 5th under power. If I slow the change down or take it easy then its fine.

  9. Is it possible to get some super dooper smic instead? or is it just the fact that it does not get as much airflow as a fmic?
  10. Wow yeah i did too, theres heaps of modding required! Woops, sorry for the mislead.
  11. What about this HDI GT spec intercooler kit? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Hd...co-t297766.html Looks like thats a diy bolt on kit. From the power list of rb25s, looks like its well worth the effort: R34 GT-T (Manual) Blitz LM Pod Filter with Cold Air Feed HDI GT Spec Intercooler Custom 3" Turbo Back Exhaust Stock Turbo Stock Internals Stock Boost Controller Stock Tune 207.9 RWKW @ 11 PSI I am looking at getting one myself!
  12. Thanks, yeah I got the previous owner to adjust it for me with the rwc.
  13. Hi All, I am looking at buying an R34 25GT-T and I was doing research on this forum about what to look for. One of the things was the gripping point of the clutch and if it was too high it would mean the clutch was on its last legs. However, the owner is saying its always been high and its adjustable. Is this true?? Any help much appreciated!
  14. Hi All, I am sadly selling my Internally Wastegated GT3582R with a 0.7 front and 1.06 rear. I purchased this from GCG Turbochargers for ~$2400 3 years ago. It has run perfectly for the 20,000kms it has been in use for. This is a daily driver street car so has had a very easy life. No play in the wheel at all. This turbo comes with an 8psi actuator. $1200 Located in Doncaster, Melbourne. Jeff 0400648813 I also have a separate 17psi and 25psi actuator. These cost me $200 each from GCG, will sell $100 each. Have receipts for everything. Pm me or sms me for more info.
  15. Hi All, I was having a problem with my eboost, so I purchased a brand new eboost solenoid from Turbosmart. Cost me $150. It turned out not to be the problem, so I have it at home with packaging. Less than 2km of driving on it. Its the same part number for eboost1 and 2. Asking $100 Jeff 0400648813 The Turbosmart part number is: TS-0301-3003 This is the 40psi model.

  17. Hi, I have 6 x 33lb injectors that I had ultrasonically cleaned last week by Powerflow Injection in Ringwood. At the end they were within 1% tolerance. I bought these from Marks Workshop in WA for $540 3 years ago. I maxed them out with 260rwkw and just standard fuel pressure (3 bar). With higher fuel pressure you could get more out of them. I just spent $200 on getting them cleaned last week only to find out they were not big enough when tuning. $300ono Have receipts for initial purchase and the cleaning. Jeff 0400648813
