does anybody know if the V35 coupe LSD ( manual ) fit the GT-8 sedan

When we put the car on the hoist for oil change , we noticed that one of the exhaust pipe is clean .. I get one of the muffler shop to cut open the top of the muffler to have a look inside and found out that one of the pipe is blocked off , only there for show .. I asked them to cut the leading pipe inside the muffler and cut open the partitions to the second pipe and now both exhaust pipes works ... this gives me a couple of things .. fisrt - it excellerates much better , either down low or mid range and revs freer to 6000rpm .. second - it sounds awesome once it hits 5000rpm and yet when cruise it is still very quiet ... thought share this experience

When I reved the engine from 500 rpm to 5500 rpm , the exhaust gas only comes out from one hole not both , does anyone knows about this ?

I have v35 gt-8 and just been lowered .. King Springs sent me a wrong ones ( too low ) then they have to make new sets just for my car .. I suggest you contact them and have to ask for the v35 sedan ... the new springs set the car nicely and fitted 17x8,5 and 17x9.5 Ask for Kris Tarrant as he is the person that took my order

is that possible that the drive by wire not consistant .. this happens to my BMW X5 as well , if I push the X5 accelerator lightly before flooring it , it pulls very hard but if I floor it straight away at the light sometimes it doesn't give full power My gt-8 accelerates hard from stop everytime as long as I push it all the way to the floor ... yeah

Hi Austin, Once you have done this , please post the results and are you sure that the 350z diff housing & mounting is the same as the gt-8 ?

Has anyone fitted an LSD on this model car .. can we use complete diff from a different car that just bolt in .. open diff is sucks

I have Torsen LSD on my RWD Corolla ( True Track ) and MX5 , both race cars .. they work fine and most of the MX5 race cars run Torsen , used to have TRD clutch systems for FWD Corolla race car , screwed very tight and doesn't have any noise on slow turn either .. may be it depends on the systems & make

I saw Craig from Highway Automatic in Springwood ( ph.3209 2299 ) and he told me that he used to work on CVT in NZ before he came to Brisbane .. he told me that this CVT is common in NZ . He checked my transmissions ( GT-8 CVT ) oil and said to leave it as it is still very clean .... he also said that he has seen cars that done 150k and the fluid still good. He told me that one thing that you never do is using the change the gear down to slow the car from high speed as this will cause problem , use the brakes first then change down ( if you use manual shift ) .. At least someone in Brisbane knows this trasmissions just incase we need him

Used to have C4 when I used to race Improved Productions class , 3 rounds QR and 3 round Warwick ..and still need AASA license as well for QR .. now that Lakeside open , there are 2 tracks in Brisbane and both AASA , when I wanted to do the 1 hour Production Sport Car at Warwick , I need Cams lisence again .. and now has C3 and only for Warwick .. having Cams lisence for 1 or 2 races per year is expensive ..but no way out if I still want to the the Club Championship or State title ..
