making 320hp with std fuel system and hi flwed turbo?? can we have more detials.... ECU/management changes? intercooler? new specs of turbo? fuel system? internals?

having never owned a turbo in the summer before i was wondering if theres any preacuation/changes in driving style you have to make in the summer with the hot weather. im in perth so we're looking at temps of 30-40degrees during the day... thanks!

well i bailed for 2 reasons, a little rain and decided to go out instead which may have been a bad decision so can someone give a quick summary of events.... who got damaged??! is that you boostzor?

the clutch shudders mainly in 1st and reverse when let out slowly with too little revs. i was told this would happen, its a 5button clutch with VERY heavy plates.... should this happen? as macka has got me worried it might be something wrong:D i always just accepted it...

nah no boost yet ive got a 1month plan for it first; BIG service, plugs filters oil radiator everything second; boost/bleeder third; remap by cred possible fuel pump but mines a mystery, made by JECS.... i need to save around $500 so hopefully by the end of august itll be alot faster but until then im happy to race even tho i may lose:D

mack what about the blue catcher?? thatd look mint:D so youre using std pistons with HKS head gasket? or are those OEM thingos rated higher than std? do we have a power figure from the new engine? must be fairly solid if its fried the clutch

mines a 5-button with some rediculous plates in it the guy who did it, from the clutch factory in welshpool actually told me before hand that it would shudder a bit so i didnt worry about it, but ill give another company a call on monday and make sure its all ok

it shudders a bit... only when you ease it out and dont rev..... when you rev and clutch it properly you either bog down cronically or launch like a bat out of hell:D why, do you think there may be something wrong with it?

well ive been in darwin for 8days and happy to report the car wasnt stolen and it still works!! couldnt you just do a backyard job on it?? what clutch you installing? as tough as mine? ill sell ya my clutch cos i wonah softer one.... haha its such a pain!!

$100 bleeder set to 10psi will be the best bang for buck mod at your stage.... then front mount, fuel, ecu, turbo the list goes on and the money runs out:D

how hard is it to replace plugs on the RB20 or RB25?? im gunah get a set of plugs at the next service before i start playin with boost levels again... should i a) do it myself B) take it to local garage/service centre c) take it to performance tuner

according to the manual oil pressure should be at 4kg cm2 @ 6000rpm mine sits at about 1/2 or sometimes lower on a cold night at idle and i get pretty scared seeing it so low.... although it rises fairly quickly when you put the hammer down. im going to change oil and filter soon and have been advised toward a ryco or preferably genuine nissan and i use AGIB oil. could the change in the oil/filter combination change actual oil pressure that much? or are we relying too much on the std gauge.... cos i know low oil pressure=bad as can mean internal damage or dead oil pump which mean rebuild

sorry again chris, cant believe it got stolen! i duno if perth is turning out like the eastern states..... its not that bad, and the majority of car thieves steal the car, thrash it then dump it... so hopoefully youll see it again hope it somehow works out for you...
