i took my cat off about a month ago which apparently had been replaced under compliance (6 months ago) the sensor was rusted in, and you couldnt see the light of day through the other end of the car. it wasnt a 3" high flow either, more a 21/4" blocking pipe. anyway i replaced mine and it made a very big difference with spool-up of the turbo however did make the exaust note louder and drone a little more... basically it depends how bad your current cat is, if it is shit then you will get some performance gains by replacing it

im looking forward to a big pay rise so i can do the same thing i still want a 12 tho while its in this current setup

a mate of mine is making 280rwhp on a silvia with a VL fuel pump - is a better upgrade then some think!

there have been a few, but yeh running lean was one of them dont let my experiences put you off though, it seems to be a freak case! they also come with HICAS, but youre probably best off removing it as it isnt the best system. the brakes that come standard from nissan are also very good, as an all-round car it is very good

my gts-t has ABS ive found the chassis, and drivetrain to be great. lovely car to drive. my experience with the RB20 has been one of a rollercoaster ride, however ive heard the majority of them are bulletproof. i get around 400k's to a tank, all in all a great little car however can't carry people in the back and all the 32's ive been in have had their own 'quirks' as theyre becoming a fairly old car now

when BOV vents the air left in the intercooler piping to atmosphere it is removing air from the system. however this air has already gone past the AFM and hence a signal has been sent to pulse the injectors. with no air, but more fuel the result is the car stalling

id be looking more at tuning altho the cat could be a problem... pull it out and have a look

21psi is alot... but if tuned right will last. i personally wouldnt run it all day every day. stick to ~14psi if you are concerned with engine longetivity

so youre getting a new car and one of the first things you want to buy is a atmo-venting BOV. priorities? these things are alot more trouble than theyre worth... but thats just an opinion

firstly check the bulb that would be the easiest if its not that then look at wiring

i use mobil 1 semi synth 15-50 because as stated above i think most fully synthetic oils are too thin and dont provide enough protection

my mates uncle owns tint-a-car in maddington if thats useful at all did my tinting very cheaply

apparently toyota genuine coolant is supposed to be great for aluminium heads - im using it at the moment and it seems good. pricey though...
