you can mount theexternally if you really want tho... even the biggest bosch (044) can be mounted internally but some do it externally, its weird they havent done a surge tank setup as well tho. if the pump has JECS on it anywhere its a nissan part and most likely a GTR pump. look for markings on the pump, that will tell you what it is exactly. or get it on the dyno and find how well it pushes fuel at high rpm, this will also be a good indicator

you shouldnt loose that much power but sounds more like a leak than a breakage. check for moisture around any of the exhaust gasket areas, make sure no intercooler pipes have blown off and that theres no boost leaks (which youve already done) is it definately an air-rushing sound and not a mechanical sound? that would be the decider!

should all be around the 150 mark

leaning out at 10psi - no cant boost skylines on std cooler - wrong needs a fuel reg - wrong its got to be something to do with ignition if you are in fact runnin 10psi. this means checking coil packs (done), spark plugs, and ignition module. however if the spark plugs are uneven in colour it may point to a blocked/clogged injector which isnt spraying enough fuel causing pinging, but youd hear that... is it missing on idle and all the time, or only in high rpms? what gap have u got your plugs set to?

yeh its cheaper when u actually buy the tyre but in the long run is it cheaper to buy say 2 sets of second handers a year compared to 1 set of brand new ones?

why do you guys buy 2nd hand tyres? are there distinct advanatages in doing this compared to buying new ones?

yeh i like to do things myself, but with no rattle gun i had to give in with the water pump ive rebuilt the engine in the garage but cant change the seals on the water pump, dissapointing

yeh i used to get harassed in the 33. but have never been pulled over in the 32, maybe cops just appreciate the better cars

it only takes about 1hr to get the turbo off, it aint that big-a job ive replaced all my exhaust gaskets within the last month, i think its a matter of going through and tightening all the bolts... yeh it sure is annoying!

yeh dont use a T28 if you want a budget upgrade try a RB25 or a VG30 turbo

drifto keep us informed on your progress because i have this problem again, and the turbo guy know swears its not balancing. my noise goes away slightly when it gets hot so im thinking possibly a gasket. will do a re-tighten of all the exhaust bolts on the weekend and see if that helps, its a strange noise eh!
